I can’t be more satisfied with the care Dr. Raines provided. In addition to his friendly and professional bedside manner, Dr. Raines provided a very thorough examination and diagnosis of my injury along with a six week rehab plan.

Dr Raines does not listen, does not care, has an inflated ego, can be condescending, has an 'old school' mentality on orthopedics and is not solution-oriented.After proving, through an MRI that I had to basically beg him for, I had bone on bone stage 4 hip arthritis, he refused to do hip replacement surgery even though my quality of life was almost nonexistent due to the pain, limp and lack of mobility citing I was 'too young' I'm 38. He also said if I was his daughter he'd tell me the same thing, which was extremely unprofessional. He told me me to see a psychiatrist and get antidepressants. I was crying due to my quality of life decline not because of depression. The audacity.When I called him out on his lack of care and lack of listening, he suddenly feigned empathy in a laughable and ego-driven way.I got a second opinion with another practice, and 1 year later, I have 2 new hips and finally gave my life back. I just walked my dog 4 miles and am so glad I advocated for myself

Dr. Raines took the time to listen to my concerns, identify and verify my health issue and help me come to a diagnosis and the treatment options that were available. Dr. Raines is a world class surgeon and took all the necessary time that I needed to feel very good about my treatment path. I highly recommend this fine doctor.

The medical staff was very friendly, which fosters a professional environment. Dr. Raines took his time to explain my medical procedure In intricate details. He did my TKR left knee last August, 2023, which was a success and did the my TKR right knee on April, 2024, where I’m currently recovering.I’m happy with the service I received.

Dr. Raines and staff have been great to work with in addressing my shoulder issues. He is very personable, transparent, and efficient. After comprehensive evaluation, he explained things clearly, gave me options, and gave me his recommendation. I had a torn labrum and rotator cuff and frankly dreaded surgery based on stories I have heard. After discussing with Dr. Raines, I was very comfortable in proceeding with the surgery. He walked me through the process and what the next few months would look like. 5 months later I can honestly say that the entire process followed what he outlined exactly and the results have been very favorable. I am back to doing all the things I love…golf, running, etc…while still following the guidelines he gave to further strengthen my shoulder. I am very happy with Dr. Raines, his staff, the entire process, and the progress that I have made. I can't say better things about Dr. Raines & his staff! Dr. Raines is attentive and helpful, and actually listened to my concerns. I had knee issues for months while seeing another doctor first, and after seeing Dr. Raines, my issues were actually addressed and fixed. We tried conservative treatment before deciding on surgery and he gave me all the information I would need before to not be worried. I wish I would have seen him sooner! His entire staff at Resurgens is helpful and nice as well, everyone made me feel so comfortable.

Dr. Arthur Raines was Godsent! My dad is an 87 years old man who was barely mobile and needed a cane to get around. Initially, dad did not want any surgery. Dr. Raines was very patient with him and treated him accordingly. Eventually, dad did change his mind and allowed Dr. Raines to do a Rt knee replacement. I am pleased to announce, it was very successful! Dad's mobility is back! He went from sitting around all day, to staying on the go and even back to dancing. Dad is doing so good now, he can't tell you where his walking canes are. Dr Raines released him today! Woohoo! Dr. Raines is an awesome surgeon! He was always very caring and informative with my dad. We have referred several individuals to him and will continue to do so. Thank you, Dr. Raines for helping our dad!
