I went to the hospital after a car accident the hospital said it wasn’t broken and sent me to Seaview orthopedic Dr Vasen brought up the X-rays said it was not broken and to use it as much as possible. I went to a real Dr the next week who found a broken arm and a torn rotator cuff. He should have taken his own X-rays. The other Dr sent me for a shoulder mri that showed a torn rotator cuff.

1 Star is Too Generous
Dr. Vasen was not the same person I visited 4 years prior when I broke my wrist. He was indifferent, and appeared uninterested in my visit. I was diagnosed with tendonitis and given a cord-ozone shot in my wrist with a month of physical therapy. Thereafter this appointment ,I was scheduled a month later. Knowing something wasn’t right with this hand after this shot, I could no longer bend the first joint of my index finger. When trying to speak with the Doctor to tell him the result of this injection , I realized what a incompetent office he had. I never heard from the Doctor but a PA answered my calls. I could write a book about my frustration since I now have permanent damage that has changed my life and the things I like to do. I paint and now trying to adapt in holding a pen and a brush or just to pick up items or a weed in the garden with my right hand is no longer possible. On visiting a second surgeon , he said the tendon was blown out completely and doesn’t suggest surgery.

I went with pain in my hand which had been injured 3 years ago. Dr. Vasen isolated the tendon as the issue and gave me a cortisone shot.

I came in because I injured my arm and hand. Dr Vasen was great! He saw me right away, had my arm x-rayed and thankfully nothing was broken. I really was impressed at the immediate care I received

I already have! His knowledge, expertise, care and bedside manner are better than any I have ever been to or heard about from others. Dr. Vazen is very conservative about surgery and rather try physical therapy to begin with but if it is necessary he will let you know. I was scared and he made time to reassure me and take my keloid and dystonia into account. Dr Vazen even made time to answer my husband and mothers questions. My surgery was very successful and barely noticeable!

The doc was great, my only complaint is with Seaview Orthopaedic. An appointment time should mean something. On the first try I waited over an hour and had to reschedule. The second try I was taken in 20 minutes late and then waited another 15 minutes in the exam room. Minutes count when you’re taking time off from work for an “appointment.”
