Dr. Arturo Meade, MD

I have been seeing Dr Meade for over 4 years. He is always very caring and has always answered every question I have. Never feel rushed. I have always been seen in a timely manner. Would recommend him very highly.

"Unfortunately this was one of the worst Dr. visits I have had. My medical history includes 2 lung cancer surgeries and have COPD. I moved from Ft. Worth Texas to the Ft. Smith, AR area and when I attempted to get an appointment it took over 3 months to see Dr. Meade. Upon arrival the front desk did not have my information even though I had fill out all my information on their website as instructed before attending my scheduled appointment. After this I went in for lung testing which was handled friendly, timely and professionally by 1 of Dr. Meades respiratory nurses. I wish I could remember her name as she was great!!!! Unfortunately I can not. After the lung testing I was placed in a exam room after waiting over thirty minutes past my appointment time I went out into the hall where Dr. Meade's receptionist was seated. This was a young girl who rudely stated that I was the next patient and basicly ignored my conern. Afer an hour had passed I once again went into the hall and was told

Very disappointed they give you a scheduled time to be there you show up but yet you might set for two two and a half hours waiting for your appointment and then when you do get in there you're lucky if they spend 5 minutes with you don't schedule appointments if you can't be on time I realize we might have to wait sometimes but not ours at a time

I am pleasantly surprised at how fast as a new patient I am able to get in. The office staff has been very friendly, informative and helpful. I have several friends and family that highly recommended Dr. Meade as my current pulmonologist moved to Texas and I am looking forward to many years of being his patient.

I've had a CPAP so long that I am unable to sleep without it. I am having trouble with my current machine. It is torture going without sleep. I'm trying to get a new Machine. Five times I've asked Dr. Meade's staff to fax the necessary documents to get a new CPAP machine. I've also had the supply company contact them four times. They say they will fax the information but they never do. When you try to call Dr. Meads office the hold times are ridiculous and I often get cut off. Thank God there are other options in the area.
