I have been seeing Dr. Patel for over decade now. He is a very good doctor. I am just concerned that lately, I am unable to reach him. I need a prescription refill but been calling and leaving messages for the last 3 weeks to no avail. CVS has also contacted him numerously by fax but is still waiting to hear back from him. As I write this review my medication is now out and I have still not heard from him. Just so frustrated.

Dr. Patel's office has not responded to my request for a prescription refill. I need this medication, and I am hurt by his office's lack of concern for my health. Do not recommend.

Never had a long wait. Dr. Patel is always friendly and thorough. I'm very pleased. For those complaining that he is booked far in advance....welcome to downtown DC!!

I’m writing this review to give individuals considering Dr. Patel’s practice some insight. I have been seeing Dr. Patel for over a decade, but I have noticed over the past few years the practice has gotten less and less reliable. Just in the last couple months, there were three separate occasions when I needed the doctor and the office was unexpectedly closed. Dr. Patel and his staff are very nice but I have been disappointed and frustrated these past couple years and will be changing doctors.

Horrible practice! Staff is rude and poorly trained, waiting times are ridiculously long, organization is poor, and waiting rooms are depressing. I visited the office while 6 months pregnant to do a blood exam. I had to wait almost two hours to get my blood drawn. I hadn't eaten anything in anticipation of the blood exam and I almost fainted waiting to get my blood drawn. I thought I should give the practice another chance so I had a post-natal appointment to get my blood drawn again. I had to

Came in for physical and blood work. Dr sped through physical and then never provided me blood work results. I called multiple times and never received the results, doubt I will ever get them yet still had pay the bill in fear of being sent to collections. Terrible service.

Patel is often overworked. He had a very sympathetic and supportive staff. Had, I say because eventually they left. Not clear why however. . The people remaining are kind and try to be as helpful as they can, but his administrative system is or was in a shambles when I stopped using him. It has been a year since I used him.
