Excellent Doctor
I liked Dr Yoder’s approach for my recurring sinus infections. He treated me medically for over a year before suggesting turbinate reduction surgery. His staff is extremely well trained to present all aspects of the surgery and followup care. Prior to my pre surgery appointment I sent a long list of questions via the patient portal to him and he answered every one efficiently. Post surgery I had very little pain and only required OTC pain medication once. I followed post surgery instructions and had no issues and was back to work at my desk job in one week. My breathing is greatly improved and I’m able to use my CPAP all night again. It is true that he doesn’t linger with nonsense chit chat in his appointments but my appointments always start on time. I’m busy so I appreciate not sitting around in the waiting room. His demeanor is quiet and kind.

Rushed/uninterested in patient concerns/questions
Terrible. Did not do a thorough examination and did not check neck, throat, or tonsils yet reported in clinical notes he did. Condescending and did not listen to the patient or ask questions about symptoms. Dismissed patient input. Did not review medical records provided. Glanced for less than a few seconds and did not turn over to read all information.

He is incredibly smart but also caring. He explained things in terms I could understand and helped set expectations for the surgery and recovery process. He is accessible and the office staff is great.

Sincerely. Go elsewhere. Dr. Yoder is not only condescending and rude, he isn’t thorough. I saw him last year for a septum problem. He looked at it for 5 seconds and wanted to schedule me for surgery. I went to a different doctor who actually examined me and did a CAT scan only to find other problems. That doctor retired and I needed a quick appointment so I thought I would give Dr. Yoder another shot. I went with an open mind. Not only was he short with me when I asked questions, I was again misdiagnosed. I’ve never left a bad review in my life, but this Doctor truly deserves it.

Dr Yoder is a quack and an flat out butcher. He does not care about his patients. Even after they have to go to the ER twice because of uncontrolled bleeding from his hack surgery.

1 star, because I can't leave 0. Don't take your child there, if you want them to breastfeed; he's anti and says it is for mom only and of no benefit to child. Referred to his wife's lactation issues and said to just find a bottle and nipple that works for my child. Calls IBCLC Lactation consultants certifiable (as crazy). Did NOT want to listen to my concerns regarding my daughter's health issues.
