Dr. Bahareh Hassanzadeh, MD

From my first appointment three years ago till now, I have been very impressed with Dr. Hassanzadeh. She had obviously read my history, for starters, which is not always a given. She asks important questions and explains things clearly. She has always been very thorough in her examinations. Dr. Hassanzadeh also seems very knowledgeable about a wide array of conditions and how they affect her patients. In my personal experience, she is the best physician I have ever worked with. It is not easy to get an appointment here, unfortunately, and that is the only downside. I am seen twice a year for a chronic condition, but if things have to be rescheduled it might be a few months before I can be seen again.

After waiting almost half a year I told this doctor about my chronic migraines and eye twitching she asked me a few questions didn’t really examine me automatically tells me I have something called benign blesospasm I looked it up it online it was a real thing she said she will treat it with some kind of prescription but tells me to get an mri so I did the mri and she says no abnormal activity sorry there’s nothing I can I do I said miss I am in pain then she says sorry I hope this information helps … Like I thought Doctors are here to help us she just brushed me off !! So I found another neurologist that actually examined me and prescribed me medicine for my pain

She was rude, cruel, condesendingand would not go over the test results of the test she ordered. She kept harping on why I did not take the medicine she prescribed although her nurse advised me there was no prescription ordered at this time just a blood test. Apparently she prescribed at at later date an over the counter supplement which can be harmful to the blood test. I needed to be prescribe infusion therapy. She clearly did not want discusss the test diagnosis because she made it quite clear she did not treat this diagnosis. All I wanted from her was to confirm her diagnosis and advise next step for treatment. I am not saying don't go to her but be warned if you are looking for a compasionate good luck.
