Terrible experience
From the get-go, I should have known I'd have problems with this surgeon. Neither he or his PA would listen to my concerns. After an MRI, I was scheduled for meniscus repair. Red flag: surgeon's notes were on my patient portal by 6:30am. My surgery wasn't until late morning! The surgery seemed to go well. But within a few days, I was concerned something serious was wrong. I left numerous messages over the course of 2 days before I was able to contact his PA. His response was to go to the ER. Um, isn't that why I have a physician? They ultimately saw me that day. I had developed a blood clot. I could not start PT until that resolved. My knee never got better and another MRI showed a tibial plateau fracture. He wanted me to use a knee scooter which meant I had to put all my weight on my bad knee. I eventually needed a total knee replacement. I went to Mayo Clinic. I'm extremely happy with the result. Looking back, it should have been my first choice!

Listens Well before speaking
I was seeking a 2nd opinion on my knee. Dr Cromer listened to my issues, answered all my questions in language I easily understood. Afterwards I decided to have him perform my total knee replacement and I am very happy with the results! I will definitely return to Dr Cromer for any future joint replacement issues.

Dr. Cromer is great but the staff that works at the front office is awful. They are rude and don't understand the meaning of good customer service. They don't give clear directions and get frustrated easily, taking it out on the clients. Sometimes calls are simply ignored on hours of operations and be prepare to listen to some good elevator music cause they will leave you on hold for a while. Very poor customer service!!
