Dr. Bassem Chahine, MD

Not only does Dr. Chahine know his stuff, but he also treats his patients as intelligent human beings having valid concerns and questions. He is a rare breed of doctor in today's healthcare arena who takes the time to get to know his patients. If you are in the S. Florida area in need of an immunologist or allergist, see Dr. Chahine! He is also one of the very few medical doctors in the area who understands MCAS (mast cell activation syndrome), a challenging condition that can stem from mold exposure, Lyme disease, and long Covid.

Dr Bassem Chahine is one of the kindest doctors I have ever met. He takes the time to explain health concerns and treatments. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

De Chahine is a jewel. The most caring and kind Dr. you will find in Miami. In any specialty. That in itself, as rare and desirable as it is, would not be enough to make an awesome physician, but put it together with a brilliant, open mind, a sagacious attention to detail and authentic interest in the well being of his patients, and you get Dr. Chahine. I don’t think I have EVER had an appointment that started on time, with a doctor that was attentive, knowledgeable and very thorough. He did not rush the appointment at all, but made sure I was in and out. Additionally, Dr. Chahine made SURE I took my notes and made sure I understood my notes. The team was nice and there was no one in the waiting area. I have a follow-up in 2 weeks, I hope it’s as smooth as this one.

My primary physician recommended Dr. Chahine after I broke out in hives. Dr. Chahine has been incredibly thorough in investigating the root of the problem. So much so that the lab techs were surprised (in a very good way) on how many tests he was requesting when I went to do my blood analysis. Dr. Chahine takes his time with his patients explaining terms in ways one with no medical knowledge can easily digest. His staff are very kind and professional. I am very happy and confident in Dr. Chahine’s care and would highly recommend him.

Dr. Chahine has been etremely helpful polite and quick along with his staff. He teaches and informs. Researches for every patient. I am a current patient and seen this for myself. Im sold and will continue to visit this famed doctor.

I went here based on all the good reviews but had the worst experience. The entire staff was unfriendly and the woman who performs the skin testing was rough, unsympathetic to my discomfort or concerns. The doctor was even worse. He spent an hour lecturing me and bragging about how great he was, giving me endless examples and complaining about other patients. When I tried to explain the reason for my visit and give my history, he refused to listen to me and said he didn't want that information!

Dr. Chahine is a professional who legitimately cares about his patients’ wellbeing. He listens and makes sure his patients understand the treatment he recommends.

Recently started the Covitru (Immune Globulin) treatment recommended by Dr. Chahine. Just back from Mayo Clinic for a 6 month follow up. Was told breathing results are much higher than the previous one & overall health is much improved. One of the Pulmonologists mentioned that even though they cannot ascertain 100%, he feels the Covitru treatment was somewhat responsible for improved results. Understand treatment is very expensive, getting approval by Medicare or Insurance could be an issue.

Dr. Chahine is a very knowledgeable doctor. I have been going to many doctors since I suffered from allergies since I was a little girl. At the first visit, he prescribed me new medications and It was magical!!!! No more hospitals like before. I rarely go. I have been his patient for about 5 years or more. Thank u, Dr Chahine!!!

My wife has been suffering of allergies for many years. We learned about Dr. Chahine while searching the Internet about one year and a half ago and decided to travel from Panama for an appointment. In a word, our experience with Dr. Chahine has been outstanding! He dedicates his undivided attention to my wife and answers every single question in detail. We have never felt that the doctor is rushing to his next appointment. His staff, Liz and Yailin, are also out of this world!
