Not a bad doctor but not a great one either. He is arrogant and condescending to the nurses at the hospital to the point where they laughed about it. I regret not listening to my gut. I believe that his dismissal of my mothers pulmonary issues and his error in judgment of releasing her from the hospital, and into a crappy rehab, quickened her death. Oh, and that rehab he sent her to, he was apparently part owner of. They were awful there and she ended up back in the hospital. she died shortly thereafter. I always wonder if she would’ve survived had she not been released from the hospital and sent to that rehab. It was such a colossal mistake on his end. He told us the insurance wouldn’t pay for her hospital stay anymore but after talking to the insurance, it just wasn’t true. When I found out I got her transferred back into the hospital, but it was too late, she was too sick after the awful rehab stay. I’m not a fan of this doctors and I would not recommend anybody I love seeing him.

Think twice before going to that office . I called with a billing question (what should have been preventative was coded as diagnostics) and got screamed at by employee named Lana . She was very disrespectful ,quote: "I don't have to do you any favors and explain your bill to you " . It is difficult to understand medical billing to begin with, so is it too much to ask my doctor office to simply go over the charges with me ? I only called because the same office previously insisted that I pay copay for annual visit that is in fact 100% covered by my insurance ...btw after confronting them about this, they did not want to refund my money ,I could only use it as a credit...

Think twice before going to that office . – Jan 06, 2021

My elderly Mom had been a patient for 10 years. As she aged, I became more involved in her health care and doctor's appointments. On one of the first appointments that I attended with her I asked a lot of questions - the Dr. became increasingly annoyed by my questions and turned to me and said: "you know, I only have 15 minutes". For subsequent appointments for which I was unable to attend, I followed up with a phone call for a summary - the Dr. acted as if he was doing me a big favor with the follow-up call. Ultimately, my Mom was "discharged" from the practice without notice. I was left to scramble for another physician for my 98 year old mother. I would not recommend Benjamin Weisman.

I have gone to Dr. Weisman for many years. He is thorough, honest and direct. He has always followed up with me when I had an issue. He remembers me when I come for an appointment. Dr. Weisman uses a computer system which tracks your history and current testing so that he can review it quickly when you are there.
