Dr. Bethany Burge, MD

This so-called 'doctor' (who should have her license to practice medicine revoked based on all of the similar reviews to my experience) was a nightmare. I transferred to this location after moving and she admonished me for changing doctors... to HER. She was condescending, didn't listen to a word I said, and made multiple mistakes with my labs. She had no idea what medication I had been on for years (through the same practice!) and said she'd never heard of it - and as a urologist, showed her complete lack of understanding of her profession. Zero empathy. No compassion. Rude, egotistical, and flat out refused to answer questions. It cost me over $200 to see her for 10 minutes, and she refused to prescribe the medication that I rely on for my quality of life, citing that she messed up the lab orders (blamed the lab) and that I could return in 2 months after additional labs, but ZERO explanation. I am self-pay so maybe I'm not worth anything as a patient with no insurance to milk.

Very dismissive and uninterested in her patients. Condescending and rude. I left the exam room in the middle of the appointment, I was so appalled.

Most irresponsible doctor. After stent removal my wife was literally vomiting of pain right in her clinic, but she didn’t have the minimum courtesy to come and ask of her state, never called back while my wife was in pain. Thanks to the emergency people that actually told us that the pain was due to debris left after stent was removed. She didn’t even inform of that possibility to us.

Dismissive and curt. Didn't respect or accept my prior related experiences. This was the worst experience i've ever had with a docto Do don't reccomend.

Very easy to talk to. Thorough, takes time to listen, and explains things well.

He didn't do any treatment when I'm complaining about discomfort in my bladder and kidney, when the fact that I just came from ER before seeing her and was referred to her. She keep saying she won't help me and didn't even do any further test except to get my urine sample. I did self pay for nothing that day. Don't go to this Doctor and suggest to see other Urologist.

Went in to see Dr Burge in a lot of pain and discomfort. They took a urine sample and I was told it was a contaminated sample because I had pushed. Lol... unbelievable. They said I was fine. Ended up going to my gynecologist a week later and was told I had a massive off the chart bladder infection. How does a urologist miss that? So I suffered in absolute pain and discomfort for another week. Terrible doctor. Stay away from this woman. She's worthless.

Very dismissive and I felt marginalized. Didn’t care about me, my condition, questioned my previous medical decisions and whether I was truly allergic to the meds I know I am allergic to. No treatment plan, no help whatsoever. If I could, I’d give zero stars. Go elsewhere, patients.

I had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Bethany Burge, MD in December 2019 when I was told I had kidney stones. Dr. Burge ordered an MRI and it was determined that I had a stone stuck in my urethra, after this stone did not pass a stint needed to be put in and Dr. Burge did this procedure. Dr. Burge handled everything from our first visit to our last very professional, with empathy for how I was feeling and a great bed side manner. I was leaving to go on an out of the country trip and she worked her schedule to make sure I had this procedure done prior to my trip. I HIGHLY recommend this doctor she was great all the way around. Also... always on time never had to wait.

One of the worst doctors I have seen, do not see her! Very dismissive and seemed extremely annoyed that she had to see a patient. Had me leave as soon as she could with no treatment plan or help, at all.

Dr. Burge was awesome. She spent time listening to our concerns and offered options on future care. She showed concern for her patient (my mother) as well as for me as a caregiver.

Dr. Burge is the best doctor I’ve ever seen. She explains things extremely well and is very patient. She is always prompt. Would definitely recommend.

VERY DISAPPOINTED with Dr. Burge and will never see her again. She kept me waiting 45 minutes, was dismissive of my concerns and brought up that I had cancelled a prior appt. I do not recommend this doctor. My review is pretty much the same as the others I have read about her.

The WORST doctor I have ever experienced. She doesn't work with you, she works against you-EGO. She will not be questioned, actually tried not to laugh at a few of my questions. I go to my doctors with a list, I question things; I am someone who needs to understand things. She did NOT appreciate this style from a patient. Also, she refused to give me any meds to help with my symptoms for a bladder infection. She actually told me I was not having the symptoms I was reporting. Go ELSWHERE!

The worst physician I’ve ever seen. I work in the medical field and it pains me to do this, but if this helps someone else rethink the decision on seeing this doctor then it is well worth the effort. I was referred to Dr. Burge by my primary. She came in with an already filled out physical therapy form and dx me with pelvic floor pain. No follow up appointment. No lab. No exam. I feel very let down by someone who took an oath to protect and save patients. DO NOT GO TO HER.

I found Dr. Burge in my search to replace my urologist I had but was unhappy with. I now drive an hour just to see Dr. Burge. She is very thorough and explains everything, not once did I feel rushed and she answered every question I had. The wait time was short and her medical assistant was excellent as well. Definitely worth the drive especially when it comes to my health.
