Ablation Surgery
Dr Messenger performed my ablation surgery about three years ago and it went amazingly well. To this day my heart is functioning well. It took some time to get back to full performance levels with cardio exercises but no more symptoms of Afib and overall continuing on a good path toward long term health.

A caring doctor who was ignored
It was Memorial Weekend 2024. After coming to Temecula Valley Hospital for a serious DVT two ER doctors and the radiologist all said i should be admitted and treated. Another doctor showed up who had never spoken to me and said he was discharging me. I went home and after a few hours was in such bad shape I drove back to the ER. They said they were wrong and made a mistake sending me home. I then went through surgery to remove serious blood clots from my leg. I almost died from blood clots treated at this hospital a few years ago. The morning after the operation I was told by a nurse practitioner from the same medical group that made the mistake the first time Rancho Family Medicine that I was being discharged again. I said I didn’t agree but she said it was the process. I asked about the Medicare Protection for a patient who is being discharged against the patient and she said it didn’t apply. Later Dr Messenger did an evaluation and said no discharge. They discharged me.

Bright & Personable
Dr. Messenger listens closely. He is positive in attitude and friendly in nature. He is the fourth cardiologist I have had so far in life. The doc previous was aloof and apparently uncaring, which is a sharp contrast to Dr. Bradley Messenger. I'm happy that I have found a bright, caring cardiologist and do recommend him for heart issues.

Dr Messenger while he is a competent provider his treatment of Nurses is deplorable. I was witness to his treatment of a bedside nurse in the hospital recently. I was visiting my mother in the ER and he was demanding and rude to the nurse, his affect was immediately irritated when the nurse told him that they did not have something that he needed, and he became progressively more agitated and aggressive with her. When the nurse snapped back at him after several minutes of his unprofessional behavior, he told her that she was rude and did not appreciate her attitude. You can tell this man is used to never hearing the word no and expects everyone in his path to accommodate him. Again, he is a competent provider and treated the patient well however, his behavior towards nurses and ancillary staff is unacceptable.

Dr. Messenger is amazing! I went through several ablations with him, and he couldn’t have. Been nicer or more caring and concerned about helping me to get better. I cannot recommend him enough! Hi is insanely busy but I believe he does his level best for each and every patient!

Second appointment canceled.
2023/04/05 History: 2/22/2023 set 1st appointment w/ Messenger MD. Received phone call for appointment cancelation due “emergency” on 2/22/2023. Called back to reschedule. I talked w/ a “call center” on 2/22/2023. As of 3/22/2023 no one called me back for reschedule. I called back on 3/22/2023 and set new appointment on 4/05/2023. I just receive a call (4/05/2023 @ 12:50) about new “emergency” and I need to cancel today’s appointment scheduled for 15:30 hours. Now is 13:12 hours. Shall I look for another “electrophysiology” specialist?!

Taken by ambulance for emergency SVT episode that had not been diagnosed though had been present off and on for several years. Dr. Messenger made the diagnosis and a week or so later performed cardiac ablation to correct the problem.

Disgusted and disappointed – Oct 15, 2020

I have been to see him a few times and he could honestly care less about my issues/health. I assume by his attitude that since he was not the doctor that implanted my pacemaker, he really had no interest in my health. I needed surgery prior to his setting up practice in the area that is covered by my health insurance, so the doctor that my insurance sent me to did the diagnosis and surgery. But Dr. Messenger set up his practice within my insurance area after the surgery, but before the wound-care followup, so my insurance forced me to switch doctors mid-stream. My wound was still healing when I first saw the doctor. I asked about the wound care process and he just replied "Keep it clean". I then asked about what I needed to do to live with a pacemaker, he told me to look on google for information and had his staff set an appointment for after the bandage needed to come off. Due to his care-less attitude I will go without a doctor and hope for a different doctor if I need one.

Dr. Messenger was very kind and thorough. He explained the electrophysiology study that he preformed on me and upon the study preformed an ablation. I felt very comfortable and confident in his care and medical knowledge. He took the time to explain all possible situations and I would highly recommend him. The only thing that I would change is the office wait. This was not of his control but poor scheduling.
