I found Dr Lafleur completely unfriendly & disconnected with me as a patient. He offered very little medical advice or comfort, only to repeatedly read through the medical Terminologies of a prior & recent thorough MRI & X-rays. I was given multiple ‘unnecessary X-rays, before I even met him, of which one set had also been performed In the report from 9 months prior. Throughout the uncomfortable experience I continued to tell Him I was in pain with my wrists & shoulders due to over use in my profession. He never even addressed my carpal tunnel regardless of addressing it twice. I left feeling helpless with my continued pain & back at square one after waiting a long period of time for my visit with him. I mentioned my dissatisfaction to the staff as I left. Such a shame to have this lack of patient/Dr care in our small town.

Two years ago at age 43, I shredded my meniscus really well during a sporting event. With excruciating pain, I couldn't put any weight on my right leg whatsoever. Within days, I had a consultation with Dr. Lafleur and his staff which was quickly followed by an MRI. The MRI image revealed a very detailed picture of the tissue damage. Within two hours of the MRI session, the doctor sat down with me to go over the images, discuss options and outline a plan. Several short days later, I was on the operating table for a minimally invasive surgery that took less than an hour. Within minutes of the surgery, I was literally up and walking around like nothing ever happened. I would say that my experience with Dr. Lafleur was excellent.

Very positive experience for someone who hates doctors and hospitals. We got an appointment quickly and doctor checked X-rays and MRI and spotted the problem with my hip. The whole experience with the hospital, his assistant Rueben, and PT was way better than I had hoped for. My wife hopes to see him soon but there has been some difficulty.

It was very frustrating to be a patient of Dr Lafleur's. I felt minimal attention was given to my symptoms. Tests done I felt were in part due only to my requesting them. Reports I received a copy of, again only because my request, indicated areas of deficiency, and yet I was again told nothing was wrong. I continue to have discomfort. I was told follow up would occur by phone after images were reviewed. It's been several weeks and although I've called multiple times this still has not occurred

35 years-old! He saw on the x-ray what three years of doctors couldn't. My tibia was recessed. Never ever would have gotten better. I'm only 43. I had the head of OHSU sports medicine read the MRI wrong. She thinks my ligaments and tendons are needing grafting surgery. Age doesn't matter. Thanks, Doc!

I had a torn rotator cuff repaired by Dr. Lafleur. The surgery went well. He and his assistant were available to take calls and if any problems would make sure you were seen as soon as they could get you in. He was very thorough and caring as far as recovering through physical therapy. I would recommend him to anyone needing orthopedic surgery!
