Best Neurosurgeon in the Bay Area.
He operated on my neck in 1994. Never had pain again. Going back to him now for more serious lower back injury. I am glad to be back in the Bay Area. I trust only him for any neurological surgery.

Arrogant guy , told me easy surgery has done thousands in for one night ,3 week recoup , no talk about possible failure . My surgery failed , I’m paralyzed , been three months , this guy told me he would be checking most days on me , 2 months in facility, saw him a few times , no compassion , stuff happens but , this guys has no compassion, plenty more to story

Dr. Andrews is the all time best. I have such great respect for his judgment, in addition to his diagnostic abilities and expertise. Plus he is a kind individual. I have had three surgeries with him, neck and back, and am hoping he doesn't retire anytime soon. I pray also he is boning up on his cloning skills so he will always be around.....

Dr. Andrews is an absolute saint. He has operated on me twice, first time 20+ years ago. Most recently, another neurosurgeon misdiagnosed me and was recommending an invasive procedure (fusing three vertebrae) and in the wrong area. Dr. Andrews did another microdiscectomy which fully resolved my issues. I would not let anybody else touch my neck/back. My only concern is how much longer he'll continue to practice. I could not recommend him more highly.

Have had 3 surgeries with Dr. Andrews and he has done all in a minimally invasive manner. The latest surgery, 2 other surgeons wanted to do a double fusion and he was able to do a minimally invasive approach that left me without any fusion and full mobility. I strongly recommend Dr. Andrews.

Brian is atypical in his field as he is not fettered by an overriding ego-based state of consciousness as many of the neurosurgeons I encountered were in my journey. If you've got brain cancer and you need to find someone to cut your head open it's a daunting prospect. Dr. Brian Andrews is certainly at the top of his field, yet beyond his expert knowledge and mastery of technique is the simple fact that you can expect to be treated with compassion & openess at the fundamental level.

Has been my doctor since bad car accidents for 20 years ago.He is the best. Very conservative, kind, brilliant. He recently recommended my 5/6 and 6/7 discs be replaced due to constant pain and other modalities of healing did not work. I am almost 3 weeks out of surgery with no pain ! Dr. Andrews and all of his staff are professional and available to help at all times. I am so grateful to all of them!!
