Kindness, respect and detail
Dr. Cost is extremely kind in his care of my husband. He made sure we both understood what treatment was necessary. I would highly recommend Dr. Cost as he listens and ask questions to determine 3the course of treatment.

My husband went to Dr. Cost on a Tuesday due to sore throat. They did a throat swab for strep. They did not send the swab off for culture. However they did send one off for respiratory swab (which is the nose) so they called him Wednesday and said he has staph but told him it was from his throat. They said they were gonna send in an antibiotic that day. My husband picked up the antibiotic and took as prescribed. He got worse during the week missing work all week and ended up in the ER Saturday. His throat was horrible. ER docs questioned why that antibiotic So they changed his antibiotic and gave him a steroid shot. It is now the next week and my husband is still extremely sick. We had to go to another doctor. This has been horrible my husband has been in pain, can’t eat, fatigue, fever, not to mention the anxiety and stress. They were rude and showed not a care in the world. Had they taken the time to actually do their job my husband wouldn’t have ever gotten this sick.

Wrong diagnosis
I went to Dr Cost for an injury. I am in the Healthcare field with Masters degree. I have gone to him for 20 years. He ordered a test on me which I also had a copy of. His CRNP called me to tell me it was negative. I had to explain that my scan was not negative. I had an injury that was put on the report. She said Dr Cost didn't tell her that! I explained that would have another MD help me with a MRI. I'm never going back to Dr Cost.

Best Primary Care
Dr. Cost takes time to listen and address all of your concerns. Everyone in the office is friendly and kind. It is also convenient that bloodwork can be done at the office. I highly recommend this office and seeing Dr. Cost.

Long history with Dr Cost
I have been a patient of his for almost 15 years & for the first 10 years - he was great! I should say that I am also a very busy healthcare provider & professional & so I understand the stress of the pandemic. But Dr Cost has grown distant & un-empathetic. I have multiple personal experiences from the past 5 years, but my biggest complaint is that he is always in a hurry & he wants to be in & out in 5 mins. I went in last year to talk to him about my increased stress & anxiety. Something I’ve struggled with off & on for my whole life… so it’s nothing new to him. He had no bedside manners… & I didn’t feel comfortable at all being honest. I honestly felt like he was annoyed. Then, last week I had a phone appointment & he was incredibly short & snappy. Also, they never send you copies of your lab work. It makes no sense why in 2022 , they don’t have better technology for their patients. If I ever get sick, I just use dr on demand — I’m searching for a new pcp now. :( so sad

Like many other reviewers I had all good things to say about Cost and the staff for over 10 years. (The phlebotomist at total sports care is the best I've ever had- absolutely amazing!). However, in the last two years I started to run into increasing challenges, from being prescribed the wrong medication, to my chart being filled incorrectly. It was noted in my chart that I had a sports injury and other health conditions, which I do not have. Why would wrong information be added periodically? I also witnessed a highly unprofessional incident, echoing others' experiences, with Cost shouting about how a patient was a waste of his time. I know there are lots of extra stressors on healthcare professionals right now, but I did not feel safe with this doctor. My review should also note that Cost is leaving his long term practice for a new one - so perhaps there are more repeated issues here.

I have great respect for Dr. Cost and deeply value his wisdom. His office is efficient and quick to call back if one must leave a message. Chelsea, his nurse, has been especially helpful and kind. I and my family have been going to Dr. Cost for a very long time and we are so thankful for him. He is professional, well-mannered, humble, and truly listens. Naturally, I don't like to have to go but when I do, I always feel better soon after my visit and I know he truly cares for his patients. He and his staff are awesome and my family is blessed to be under his care.

I would have given him a one but because his personality I am giving him a 2. I do believe deep inside of me that he is a great Dr and a good person but his staff makes him less than he could be, so with that said I am gradin get him in red to Hosni staff because of. An Incident that happen in his office over 2 yrs ago that still hunts me. I was asked to sign a paper for a prescription and when i questionned the request, is staff freaked out made him freak out and go banana on me in the hallway.
