Dr Kahan and staff are the best!
Been going to Dr. Kahan for 13 years and have had great experiences with both lumbar spine and cervical spine injections… He’s the best and his office personnel are as well.. They make me feel comfortable and the procedures are very effective!

I love Dr. Kahan and the treatment he provides. Sadly, I feel I must leave his practice based on the treatment I receive by his staff. I am always frustrated by the treatment I receive when I visit. It is unacceptable and unbearable. Just letting you know. I am not cattle and I am not here to make your day! I just want to be treated for my pain. I expect to visit my doctor without stress, I expect to visit my doctor with courtesy and kindness. I do not get that when I visit. I am told what to do, when to do it, how to do it, and what are my requirements to be there. I always feel stress when I visit. Dr. Kahan should take a second look at what is happening... or maybe he knows. I am not certain. IT JUST DOES NOT SEEM RIGHT... NOR IS IT ACCEPTABLE.

I have to say I love the treatment Dr. Kahan has given me. His staff is helpful and polite. Dr. Kahan really cares for his patients. A doctor who cares. Not too many of those out there. The PA in the office Ms. Kimberly Fern is very knowledgable of treatments and tries to find a comfort level for all patients. Each patient is important to the group. If you have tried the rest, Please do yourself a favor and try the best.

More appropriate would be 0 stars for office staff. I called to make an appointment and I was asked to hold for a moment. I held for 10 minutes and then called again. After 10 minutes I called back and they said there had been a "rush" and they would have to call me back. Left my name and number but no one called me. I made arrangements to see someone else.

Worst Doctors office I have ever been to. Accounting calls to collect before they send a bill out. They do not even introduce themselves when they call until you ask. You get three or four different answers to the charges from different people who are rude. The Dr. didn't even read my chart before he was about to administer shots. Then he tried to give me shots on the wrong side of my back. They couldn't find x-rays. Sign in waiting area on a TV over seats says to be careful the TV could fall.

Dr. Kahan is a miracle worker! He made my husband’s correct diagnosis of a relatively rare back disease when many others could not. We both have severe joint and back issues and Dr. Kahan has kept us out of pain using cutting edge procedures like radiofrequency nerve blocks and PRP. We have recommended him to many friends who also love him!

Horrible!!! My name is Frances Steward. I have seen Kahn’s Office for over 5 Years! Dr. Kim Fern is my normal Doctor. The last few months, I have had to see someone else. The Office Staff is a ZOO! I live on the Western Shore of Maryland! My CVS is only 10 minutes away! Since NOVEMBER my Prescriptions are being sent to the CVS on the Eastern Shore, ONE HOUR Drive EACH WAY! I am in 24/7-Hellish/ Non Stop Pain! To drive anyplace longer than 30 minutes max is horrible!! Not return calls!

Leaves his patients and will discontinue treatment without any information about withdraw from treatment. Been patient for 8 years. Should have been informed about what to expect after he discontinued treatment. I was ill and my husband had been taken to hospital for pneumonia. Should have canceled my appointment. Other practice would have let me reschedule drug test. Not Doctor Kahan. I guess he’s never been ill or dehydrated. It was 6 hours after my appointment before I could go to bathroom.

He really knows where to give you your epidural injection and he is very understanding about your pain. And he is very nice to his patients and has a since of humor. And I have been seeing him for 9 years and I would like to continue seeing him as long as I have to.

Dr. Kahan has helped me tremendously with my pain. I have a very complex case. My right urethra was injured during a surgical option causing me severe, unbearable pain. He has worked diligently to find the right pain management program for me. He listens, answers all of my questions. When I get nervous during a injection, he keeps me calm by talking me through it. I would be very bad off if it weren't for him. His staff is great. I highly recommend Dr. Kahan.

Meet Dr. Kahn for scheduled, started scheduling me for injection of spine and hip without any past medical records/prior treatment. Minimized being in anticoagulant therapy a and past failure in his proposed treatment. I personally believe he would make a great used car salesman. Too busy soon a I had a question he was seeing another patient. Office totally disorganized with twenty minutes had 4 different appointments, got home and appointments changed. Feel this Dr. is dangerous!

I have been a patient of Dr. Kahan's for over 10 years. I am currently 61 years old and I suffer from chronic back pain due to herniated disc L3, L4 L5 , S1 and sciatica down both legs. I qualify for surgery: spinal fusion and or titanium rods, but with a 30% success rate based on my diagnosis, I have elected to get conservative treatment from the Kahan Center for Pain Management rather than surgery. The procedures and treatment I have received from Dr. Kahan have been successful for me.

Dr. Kayan was rude, perfunctory, and rushed on both occasions. His office called three times to be sure I would bring cash to the appointment though I have full coverage with Cigna. Since my visits, two doctors have said, ssentially, he's a nice guy, but I don't know how good of a doctor he is. He explained nothing, and did not discuss options, and I will hit myself on the head with a rock before I ever go back to him. Stay away!
