Dr. Brian Macfalda, DO

I have been trying to get my doctor's office to understand the urgency I feel about getting my migraine medicine approved so I can experience relief from horrible pain. One visit with Dr MacFalda on Friday, and Monday I got a message from Nicole that she was working on approval from insurance. Shortly after that I received a phone call from her that it was approved! She worked through getting me the lowest possible copay and has even arranged auto-shipments for my medicine so I don't have to worry about running out. After multiple calls to 'primary care' office, being put off, no returned calls, no approval and another trip to his office to beg for help and being firm that I wanted a referral to a Neuroligist office, it was a total breath of fresh air dealing with an office staffed with people who truly care about their patients and do an excellent job all around. I would definitely recommend this office to others!!!

I started seeing Dr. MacFalda when my former neurologist closed her practice. Dr MacFalda listens to me and provides options and information for my issues (migraine headaches). He never talks down to me, which I appreciate. His office staff is cheerful and efficient. I feel very fortunate to be a patient.

Saw him twice via virtual visit. Just assumed by my symptoms that I had neuropathy even though I don’t fall into any of the categories. Put me on gabapentin. Second virtual visit, upped gabapentin. That was June 1st. It is now august 1st and several calls later, and I have yet to see a prescription sent to my pharmacy. Cancelled my next appt and got another neurologist.

Dr. MacFalda has been treating me for a few years. He cares for the patient's needs. Staff is very nice. So, far so good.

Immediately walked into exam room, basically saying we were wasting his time because he had only the MRI interpretation and not the disc, nothing I had anything to do with. Then did not speak to me for 10 minutes. After, asked me no questions, stated my problems were surely associated with Topamax, which I had been on for 10 years, without issues, and I needed to change to Zonegran. Later, I saw his visit report, where he documented he did a full neuro exam on me, assessing all cranial nerves, stating he whispered in my ears, did eye exams, grip tests, etc. I would never recommend him.

Doesn't actually seem to know...anything. Rude, no empathy, and most importantly, doesn't ask before bringing 2 interns/residents in with him & then doesn't even introduce them.

Horrible. His staff is great, but Dr MacFalda himself is a nightmare. My husband has been trying for MONTHS to get a small amount of paperwork done by MacFalda so he can get his license back. We stayed when we have needed it by several times. They STILL don't have it completed. He is also very curt and impersonal. He doesn't seem interested at all in his patients or their problems. Doesn't care what other professionals have to say. Doesn't believe the patient when they tell him their issues.

Dr McFalda and his staff are always very kind and compassionate. Dr. McFalda is the best neurologist I have ever seen ( and I have seen my share ) his bed side manner is wonderful and he takes the time to listen to the patient. I strongly recommend him!

Scheduling with him and his office is a nightmare. It was 3 months wait and then he told me he wasn't comfortable diagnosing me. He referred me to someone in Green Bay and after receiving a diagnosis there, he then refused to see me anymore, saying "he wasn't comfortable with me or my diagnosis".

Office staff and P.A. fantastic. Waited for him for quite a while, He was very brusque and impersonal. He also challenges the diagnosis. That my old doctor and two radiologists had made....
