Doesn’t return numerous calls I saw him for many years and whenever I had a problem he never would call me to discuss it

My experience with this doctor was unpleasant. Not only did he have me wait 20 minutes past my appointment to participate in a virtual meeting, he proceeded to gaslight me, tell me that my symptoms are in my head and that I'm just anxious. Just another dismissive and pompous doctor.

Lacks Empathy and Professionalism
If you are looking for someone for whom it takes months to get an appointment only to postpone you literally the last minute; If you are looking for someone to send a letter to your referring physician telling them how wrong their diagnosis was; If you are looking for someone to prescribe medication that he determines is the end all and be all and is totally ineffective; If you are looking for a someone to make culturally derogatory remarks about your medical choices before seeing him; If you are looking for someone to take inaccurate and incomplete clinical notes; If you are looking for someone to make gas-lighted diagnosis, circuitous prognosis and reject imaging for diagnostic confirmation, then this is your guy, and finally, if you are looking for someone who tells you to contact him with your progress and then totally ignores your efforts at communication, then this is your guy. Oh, and did I mention zero empathy?

First of all, during the visit he comes across as impatient that doesnt have much time to listen to you describing your symptoms. He even doubts you when you tell him about his symptoms. Second of all, I’ve wrote Dr. McGeeney multiple times on the patient gateway and no response. I’ve called the office and left multiple messages for him and/or his assistant and noone has called me back. This was going on for months until I decided to go somewhere else. If there was an option for NO star rating, I would give one here.

He spent the time to understand my concerns and thoroughly thinks through the reasons why certain medications may affect a patient a certain way. His recommendations have significantly improved my quality of life.

He is rude, does not give patients the time to explain fully their concerns or lay out all of the questions they may have. Extremely arrogant and condescending, and does not seem to genuinely care about patients. He may be knowledgeable, but I'd never recommend

This doctor claims to be a pain doctor but he is more concerned with his license that treating patients. His treatments are benign and consequently ineffective. He is rude and condescending.
