Excellent First Visit
Dr. Rogers was very personable, knowledgeable and had a great bedside manner. Even though he could have scheduled me for surgery, that probably would have only yielded short term results, he instead took the time to explain all of the pros and cons of the procedure and an alternative form of treatment. I felt he was totally honest and forthright and that I received an honest assessment of my condition. I feel that my appointment was absolutely worth the 8 hour round-trip drive.

Failed Ear Surgery
Had surgery in a perforated eardrum which I understood would restore most of my hearing. Spent that night in the ER with excessive swelling. Worst pain of my life. When I finally got the bandages and gauze removed and took the hearing test I had very little hearing remaining in the ear. He said that happens sometimes and handed me a hearing aid brochure.

Highly Recommend
This was my first visit and I was very pleased and impressed with the cordial and professional treatment I received during my check-in, my hearing exam, and debrief of my results with Dr. Rodgers. I highly recommend Dallas Ear Institute for their health care services.

While he was the only person to be able to diagnose my 13yo daughters unusual and difficult issue, he did not take the time to provide answers or hope. He was terrible. He is Uneducated in her diagnosis, as I later found out. He blamed too much of her issue on her anxiety. He told us stories about people with her condition who haven't left the house in 6 months. He told he didn't want to write a letter asking for accommodations at school because he didn't think they would come through with them anyway. Besides the diagnosis, all around terrible. See someone else in this practice.

Absolutely the worst doctor I have ever encountered in my life! I have an unusual and uncommon issue affecting my left ear that I have been affected by on and off since 2015. The original doctor that I was referred to could not see me and instead it was Dr. Rodgers in the same office (Dallas Ear Institute) that I had the appointment with. In order to save him time, I wrote a detailed one page overview that covered everything since 2015. He came into the office and asked me what my issue was. I handed him the paper so that he could read it. He glanced at it for no more than 10 seconds, put it aside and once again asked me what the issue was. I told him that if he took three minutes to read my comprehensive review, he would fully understand the issue. He got up in a huff and stormed out the door telling me: "I shall go out and read it and come back". He came back five minutes later and by his comments, it was clear that he finally read it. He expressed his opinion and suggested that I t
