Dr. Brian Yost, DO

Dr. Yost is a visiting physician at Essentia health in Fargo ND. My 9 year old son came in with many problems due to influenza and strep. My son had extreme pain in his foot and Dr. Yost was called in to examine him. He was very concerned and was adamant and persistent that there was something very serious taking place. Without going into all of the details, Dr. Yost did have to perform surgery on my sons foot. He was kind. He was thorough. He was persistent and I felt like he was an advocate for my sons health when many times a patient is just a room number. He treated us with respect and I just knew he was going to do whatever he had to do, to get this problem solved. Dr. Yost flew back to California the day after the surgery. But I will never forget him and how he took an interest in my child's health that isn't often seen in Healthcare providers. He's a good, genuine, and caring person. We are very fortunate that he was in Fargo at that time.

DR Jost is the best in my opinion, he replaced my hip 3 year ago and I feel very good . Now I’m looking for him again, because probably I need another replacement in my other hip . He is not anymore working in 4510 Brockton Ave in Riverside . If someone knows where he is now please leave the info . Thanks .

Dr Yost was very comforting and reassuring as he explained about my needed knee surgery. Showed xrays and explained the process and what to expect. Alleviated a lot of fears and assured me I could do this. I am looking forward to being pain free and back to my active life.

I went for my appointment with dr yost, I had my recent MRI for a torn meniscus. Dr yost refused me service, because I didn't want take a XRay. I drove all the from Hemet, ca. so could get my knees treated. Dr Yost refused the rest of my appt, He said, He could not continue with the visit if I would not take a XRay. He was rude, and had no concern that I drove a long distance to keep my appt. I would NEVER recommend dr yost to anybody!!!

Dr. Yost performed knee replacement surgery on me. He did an excellent job. After the operation, I had much less pain than I expected, and I had more flexibility as compared to when I had my other kneed replaced by another physician. Another important point is that Dr. Yost took the time to explain the procedure and he answered all of my questions. I highly recommend Dr. Yost.

Dr. Yost is very knowledgeable, professional, explains everything thoroughly and has an excellent bed side manner! I highly recommend him and Orthopedic Institute of Riverside!

I would like to thank Dr Yost and his wonderful staff they did an amazing job for fitting me in for the scheduling of the surgery from the beginning to the end an amazing job and amazing staff in his office and at the hospital and I had a beautiful view in the hospital from my room and it was Private I was comfortable amazing job they did I like to thank you all you're so wonderful people.

Dr Yost has been my doctor for 15 years and he's always professional, what I really love about him is he listens. He don't rush you out of his office he cares about your concerns. He's just a( A+) Doctor, I recommend him highly. Thank you.

Dr. Yost is a very caring doctor. He kept our family up to date with our mother’s constantly changing care needs. He is very thorough in his treatment. His whole team is amazing.

My first medical appt. with Dr. B. Yost began July 2014 regarding unrelenting pain in right knee. He was very attentive to my explanation of the experience/duration of pain. Moreover, he was knowledgeable of the medical condition degenerative joint disease and gave the most accurate recommendation to remedy the painful condition. Dr. Yost performed right total knee replacement surgery 19 January 2015. I have appreciated everyday to have ability to move without pain. Surgery to recover perfect.
