Dr. Britany Epstein, DO

I didn't even make it as far as the initial phone call. The person who answered the phone was very rude and condescending. That made me feel uncomfortable so I am looking elsewhere.

I started at PalmBeach Diabetes and Endocrine Specialists and was assingned a great doctor who understood my issues and was very empathetic. He had since retired and I was reassigned to Dr. Epstein. Met her twice at the office and always seemed in a hurry and not very attentive. She has since moved to New Jersey and now only does telehealth visits and any questions have to go through her nursing staff and she was terrible and had to go through her to get a refill which the doctor always challenged the need for a refill, when I asked more questions to the nurse, she told me she did not want to be in the middle and should talk to the doctor directly. How am I to do it if no one sends her the message!! All in all she is inattentive and it is difficult to get through to her and when you do she is very obstinate. She is someone I cannot recommend to anyone.

I was prescribed a medication to test if had too much excretion of calcium that could be causing my Osteoporosis. Was to be tested 3 weeks after finished taking the medication but then told needed to get tested right after taking it. So I needed a refill in order to test it again left several messages over the past two months no calls back and voicemail left wasn’t even my request. Now the doctor won’t prescribe me the medication unless I go to the office, just a waste of time, gas and $35. I will be seeing another doctor.

after years of wonderful treatment at Palm Beach Diabetes I was handed over to Dr. Epstein after my previous Dr. retired. She's refusing to refill my desperately needed medication for over six months for bogus reasons. I don't know if she even has a degree! or won it at the lottery . I would not recommend dealing with her in any way

Dr Epstein is great but the support staff is considerably less so. No one picks up the phone, and if you leave a message they don’t call you back. I’ve been left on hold for over 30 minutes at a time. Unfortunately I had to find a different doctor.

I went in May 2021 for an endocrinologist with Dr. Epstein. She was recommended to me by my wax specialist. From the front desk lady being rude and going in I was asked if I had any significant problem for this visit. I told the residency student that I haven't been to the endocrinologist since giving birth to my daughter and was diagnosed when I was 16,basically just wanting to check my all my levels. Dr. proceeded to come in and say that she isn't going to be doing anything because she is moving offices and that she would call me in 2 weeks to request a full blood draw. And yet, have not ever received one call besides from the billing department. Careless.

The staff is very friendly and Dr. Epstien communicates well making sure that you understand what is happening with my health.

Dr. Epstein has a great bedside manner and made me feel very comfortable. She was thorough with her explanations

Dr. Epstein is very knowledgeable and she and her staff are friendly and efficient. Under her care over the last 6 months, my A1C has decreased 4 points.

Dr. Epstein listens carefully to my responses to her questions and this gives me assurance that she knows me. I'm very pleased with the doctor and would not hesitate to recommend her to others looking for an endocrinologist.

Helped me lower my A1c in a short time as a result my triglycerides lowered as well. Wonderful and friendly staff.

Everyone was very helpful and kind. Dr Epstein put me at ease the second she walked in the room. She was very helpful in explains everything every step of the way.

Professional, Friendly Diabetes Doctor who takes her time to listen and understand Patient questions and concerns. Dr. Epstein guides me and gives me support to understand and decrease my diabetes issues and to bring my A1C down from 12.9 to 5.5, to loose weight and to assist me in all ways related to my Diabetes. Dr. Epstein is wonderfully caring and considerate. I suggest anyone with Diabetes should see Dr. Epstein no matter the length of the trip to see her. I am truly Blessed to her found her and her staff.

Set an appt a month out. Received VM that the appt would have to be rescheduled. I called and rescheduled. Then 2 days before the initial appt that was changed, I receive a call to confirm my appt. I called back and left a message to understand what is happening. I get a call back stating that the first appt was not canceled and there was no rescheduled appt. Too bad for Shaye that I have the VM's to prove she is wrong. Clearly, I will not be visiting an office that cannot keep there schedule correct. What else do they mess up?

Dr. Epstein is a very professional and caring doctor. She spends time reviewing my treatment protocols and if there is an alternative she will discuss it with me. She has always responded quickly to requests from my pharmacy for medication refills. I feel I am receiving the best care I can. with Dr. Epstein.

WONDERFUL DOCTOR, VERY CALM, MAKES YOU FEEL COMFORTABLE AND SUPER KNOWLEDGEABLE.

Yes I would recommend Dr. Epstein to my friends and family! I drive from Fort Pierce to see Dr. Epstein which take me about 90 minutes. I was seeing a physician in Vero Beach and found the care to be physician-centered; Dr. Epstein offers patient-centered care.

Excellent ! Dr. Epstein is very knowledgeable explains things well and very thorough with her work, and Maria her nurse is also very caring and professional the staff is amazing and helpful. overall I would highly recommend her

Such a rude office . They should not be working in the medical field.
