This guy was one of the worst doctors I've ever dwelt with. Put me on meds that made it so I could not work. The refused fill out forms for me to work 1/2 time tell I'm weened off the meds. Went to another Neurologist that did it without question. Morgenstern is a joke. I would NOT recommend doing ANY business with him, he is incompetent..

If I don’t take my husband with me he won’t listen to me. He immediately assumes I am just another anxious female. I am a grown woman and don’t appreciate being called a “girl” or being given a doctors note for my employer that sidesteps my head injury and focuses entirely on anxiety. I wish this wasn’t my experience, my first visit with him was great but each follow up just got worse. He needs to quit assuming and start listening and actually hearing out his female patients. If you don’t have a male parts, find a different doctor.

He is very thorough and pretty much saved the life of a family members who had been misdiagnosed and was being treated with the wrong set of medications. He is prudent and not one to overprescribe or go with aggressive treatment initially - perhaps thats why his ratings are not all 5 star, as high as he rightfully deserves?

While I agree that he is rude, appears not to care, and has absolutely no bedside manner, he knows what he is doing, it took him 20 minutes to diagnose me with Meralgia Paraesthetica, after a dozen doctors at Swedish and Sky Ridge scratched their heads. He knew immediately upon hearing my symptoms what the problem was and gave me a test to make his diagnosis conclusive. If you are looking for a social pleasant person look elsewhere, if you are looking for a good Neurologist, he's your guy.

Dr. Morgenstern is frankly awful. As many reviewers have written, he diagnoses patients before seeing or hearing them, is disinterested in empathetic care, and he refuses to coordinate care with your other healthcare professionals. Further, he allows his personal prejudices to cloud his practice of medicine, and uses his judgement of you as a person determine your worthiness to be treated with respect and in accordance with medical best practices.

I got the feeling I was diagnosed before I sat down. I was not able to go over the history of my symptoms, explain why I was taking the medications I was taking and felt rushed. He was uninterested in my current diseases and was uniterested in what other doctors had to say on it. Did the basics on reflexes and balance and told me I have anxiety and sent me away. If he doesn't have time to go over symptoms with patients maybe it is time to retire.

He is a rude man, he doesn't take the time to understand your medical issues. I highly suggest to find a doctor who cares about your well being.
