Very considerate. Explains and listens well.
I've been seeing Urology for over a dozen years for incontinence and frequency. Recently, I had to move and change practices. I thought that would be bad but I was so wrong. Only a little over a year since my move and only about 6 months working with Dr Voelzke, I had a treatment plan that actually works! He has been flexible, listens incredibly well, seems to know more about my history than any provider I've ever seen (even though I've only seen him a few times). I'd had trouble getting insurance to cover prior procedures, however, the detailed clinical notes Dr Voelzke provided got it done quickly. Very rare to find a physician that is easy to work with/understand, technically competent and able to deal with all the administrative headaches that come with our medical system. Dr. Voelzke has it all. If there's any downside, it's a little tough to get scheduled with him, however, I think that is the new normal for everyone.

To the Rescue
Dr Voelzke rescued me from a poor pelvic floor issue and also referred me to a tip notch Physical Therapist, along with helping me with my long-term kidney stone issues; which, included a Lithotripsy, stent and follow up. Dr V. has a very kind bedside manner, caring demeanor and is very respectful. His knowledge is endless and I trust him implicitly.

Dr. Bryan Voelzke is regarded by other urologists' as a "doctor's doctor!" He is considered by many as the GRAND GURU of urologists' in the entire Pacific Northwest, as well as one of the top 10 in the entire United States. Dr. Voelzke exudes confidence to the patient, and is 100% professional in all he says and does. He has a great bedside manner. When I see him, i just know he is doing his best to help me. I would recommend Dr. Voelzke to anyone. As the President of a large, well-know police retirement association in North Idaho, I have repeatedly recommended him to my peers. It doesn't get any better, go see Dr. Voelzke for urology care!

My primary care doctor arranged an appointment for me with Dr. Voelzke at Spokane Urology. I arrived on time and completed a questionnaire as requested. The person at the desk then advised me Dr. Voelzke refused to see me because I had once seen another urologist in Spokane. That information was in my computer records because I didn't give it. I didn't even remember the prior urologist's name. If seeing a prior doctor even once is a problem that information should be requested or the information available on computer should be reviewed. If I failed to keep an appointment I'm sure the doctor would not be happy and I am not happy the doctor refused to keep his appointment with me.

Dr. Voelzke is the BEST Urologist. I started seeing him in January, 2019. I have a strong family history of bladder cancer, and had blood in my urine. All of the tests he ran came back normal. But, with the strong family history, Dr. Voelzke took the aggressive approach and went looking for the cancer. After 3 outpatient procedures, he found it and diagnosed it. He caught it early, and the situation was handled with only surgery. He ALWAYS treated me with the best care and respect. The OR personnel at Sacred Heart Hospital reminded me every time I had a procedure done there, that I had the BEST Urologist looking after me. I would highly recommend Dr. Voelzke and Spokane Urology. You will not be disappointed with this Dr.

Dr. Bryan Voelzke is a rock star! He not only saved my life but is one of the kindest and most knowledgeable reconstructive urologist surgeons on the planet. In 2019 he moved to Spokane Urology (in Spokane, WA). Seattle patients now have to cross the state but it’s worth the trip.

I felt like I was in very capable hands from the moment I first me Dr. Voelzke. My procedure was complex and took 7 hours. My condition was caused from BXO and I’ve had 4 DVMIs in the past and needed a more permanent solution. Skin grafts from my cheeks were used for urethra material, and a graft of my leg was used for the outside skin on my penis. I am still healing up, but feeling better. Thank you goes out to Dr. Voelzke and the wonderful staff at Harborview !

Dr Voelzke took care of me when I had a severe Ureteral Stricture in October 2014. After several procedures stricture was cured. He is caring, explains procedures carefully, available throughout the course of the treatment. 6 months in this case. Just had a great deal of confidence in his knowledge and skills.
