Visit was Great. Dr. Sweeney is the best.

I visited with Dr. Sweeney on July 13th. Setting the appointment was quick and easy. Dr. Sweeney was upbeat and listened to my concerns. I didn't feel like he was rushing through the appointment. I trust him.

It went like every other visit; very well. When I ran away from the physician that I had been going to for several years (he and I had worked at another hospital together for several years. We were friends once upon a time.) because he had me on mega doses of opiates, and I'd had enough of that life. I thought it would take me several attempts to find another physician who could put up with my "quirky" personality. I got REAL lucky with Dr. Sweeney right out of the box. Dr. Sweeney is kind, and he's a Christian gentleman, if that's important to you. He's smart, and has a great "bedside manner". His office staff is friendly. What more could you ask for. Take it from an insider who knows a good physician from the burnouts that don't keep up with current medical knowledge, and are just going through the motions until retirement; Dr. Sweeney is the real deal. docclay's third rule of medicine states: The only way to appear to care is to actually care. Dr. Sweeney truly cares.

Dr.Sweeney is compassionate, and truly cares for his patients. He listens to what you have to say and then together come up with a plan to help you. He doesn’t rush with the time aloted to you for your visit. You are not a number; but a patient to him. God Bless you Dr. Sweeney You deserve to win!!!

Annual checkup. Dr. Sweeney is thorough and has a very pleasant demeanor.

I saw Dr. Sweeney for over 3 years and, although he is kind and seems concerning, felt that he didn't seem knowledgeable about particular concerns I had about my health and my family. We had a genetic issue that ran in our family, a very common one, and he stated that he needed to find out and ask questions. Another time, my son had symptoms relative to his thyroid function. At first it was dismissed until he showed more symptoms, but when Sweeney ordered some blood work he almost missed another red flag (before he mulled over) and had blood work check something else. The last straw had been with me, over concerns I had that didn't add up to something he was chalking up to only one issue. I decided to go with an internist because and internist would be more privy to particulars adults face. This doctor is good for basics, maybe if you broke your arm or think you have Strep throat.

Again, Dr. Sweeney listened closely to my latest health information, agreed that I needed to drop some medications and consult with my gastroenterologist and was insistent that he schedule me as soon as possible. I've been Dr. Sweeney's patient for 20 years and have the fullest confidence in his insight and judgment.

Office is always clean, attention is always prompt, sincere, and thorough. Dr Sweeney is also caring and concerned. My appt always comes off as it it supposed to!

Annual general check up. Dr. Sweeney is always thorough and pleasant. He offers a lot of advice and makes sure he covers any issue in family history. LS Family care is also very thorough and friendly. They did a great job of prechecking for SARS-CoV-2.

Professional, asks good questions re: my health and gives good direction

During this time of covid he was safe which made me feel very safe and as always he is extremely caring of his patients and very knowledgeable. He is a very good doctor.

I had my annual Medicare visit scheduled and I was able to discuss some of my problems and got to address issues that I did not think of because of Dr Sweeney knowing my chart and what to ask me to get a better outcome for the appointment. He was very friendly and professional. I would recommend him to any friend that asked for a referral.

I appreciate Dr Sweeney because I have never felt like he has rushed through an appointment. He takes the time necessary to assess the issue and then talk it through so that you know both the diagnosis and the recommended treatment. In addition to being a skilled doctor he brings a genuine desire to care for the whole person.

The wait time in the outer lobby and the patient room both together totalled less than 10 minutes. All the staff I had contact with was courteous, friendly and helpful. Dr. Sweeney is very easy to talk with. He answers all my questions, we discuss my health and make decisions together.

I have been going to LSFC since 1999 and always treated fairly and with respect. Dr. Sweeney “adopted” me when Dr. Thomas moved away. I have been happy with the care he has provided and will continue to refer family and friends to LSFC!
