My hearing dream came true!
After having several sets of ear tubes as a child, I was left was non-healing perforations in both of my ears. My hearing was unaffected by this until my early 30s when I began to experience hearing loss. Eventually, the hearing loss in my right ear became very significant. I could no longer hear my son’s voice and it was very difficult to understand conversations in even moderately noisy environments. Because I had no other problems (tinnitus, pain, pressure), I was hesitant to seek treatment since other ENTs said that my hearing may not be improved by the surgery. Dr. Wick, however, said that his goal would be to have my hearing in my right ear at the same level or maybe a little better than my “good” ear. He was very confident, calm and answered all of my questions. I proceeded with the surgery and after replacing 80% of my eardrum and two of my hearing bones I now hear better than I ever dreamed. The surgery was completely painless too! I will be forever grateful to Dr. Wick.

Life changing surgery!
Dr. Cameron Wick, MD is very personable and knowledgeable in his field of expertise. I was told by other Otologic care physicians that I would need to just get used to the idea of wearing hearing aids for the rest of my life. I did my own research and with my family practice doctor (Doctor Michael Roach of Hallsville, MO) referring me to Washington University I was able to get the care and direction I felt could restore my hearing. After a hearing test and quick consultation with Dr. Wick I was told that surgery was definitely an option for me and that my case was something he sees and corrects daily. I was scheduled that day for surgery. On the day of my surgery, I was taken care of by his wonderful staff and nurses. Dr. Wick performed the surgery that was successful. I could already hear a bit better even with the packing in my ear. After a short 3 weeks of recovery (very little pain) I was back with Dr. Wick to take the rest of the packing out. I can hear EVERYTHING - WITHOUT aids!

Miracle Worker!
I wore hearing aids twenty years and suffered from debilitating ringing in both ears prior to seeing Dr. Wick! He assured me and my husband that he could help me. He is very professional, gentle, knowledgeable, and a skilled ear surgeon. He explained things every step of my journey. He was able to restore most of my hearing and relieve 75% of the ringing in my ears. He is very good at his job! Thank you so very much!!

He changed my life!
Dr. Wick has changed my life. I always had ear and hearing problems. I had ringing, pain, and was wearing hearing aids when I came to him. He was willing to fix my ear drums and clear out all my scar tissue in my ears. I just had my followup appt post-surgery of both ears and I have above average hearing now. I no longer have to wear hearing aids and the ringing and pain is gone. I will be forever grateful for him and I recommend him to anyone with ear problems.

Highly recommend Dr. Cameron Wick.
I have Meniere's Disease and was having several severe vertigo attacks per week. They most usually included vomiting and upset stomach. I also have tinnitus and hearing loss. I could not work and was dependent on my husband for daily living and to even walk when I was having an attack. I was afraid to go in public by myself because of the constant attacks. I'm so thankful that I went to Dr. Wick, who listened to me and performed several tests and then prescribed Betahistine. It has been a miracle drug! The vertigo has completely stopped now for 10 months. I have my life back! I highly recommend Dr. Wick!

Best doctor I've ever had!
I previously had seen another two other doctors prior to seeing Dr. Wick in regards to my hearing loss. Both informed me I needed a tympanoplasty performed. Both doctors insisted on making an incision behind my ear for access. Both were also offputting and inpersonal. Dr. Wick was the exact opposite! He was SUPER nice and SUPER personable. He explained everything so well and answered all my questions. When he is explaining things to you, words you may have never heard before he tends to pronounce them slowly. This is VERY helpful not only cause I had bad hearing, but also so I can research these things later if I want. He performed my surgery flawlessly and did not make an incision behind my ear! He accessed everything through the ear itself so I will have no outer scars! He also took the skin graft from the inner ear portion. Again, FLAWLESS and PERFECT. Honestly, I couldn't even dream of a better doctor/surgeon. If you have any doubts on which ENT doctor to go with, choose him!!

Dr. Wick successfully reconstructed the bones in my middle ear. I had been mostly deaf in that ear for the last 30 years! I now hear fine.

My 9yr old son has had several visits with Dr. Wick over the past 2 years to address his hearing issues. Dr. Wick is an absolutely amazing doctor! He has always taken the time to answer my questions as a parent, and most importantly, Dr. Wick will address my son and ask him if he has any questions or concerns. Dr. Wick has always been wonderful with his thorough, yet simplified, explanations and the use of anatomical models and posters. He goes above and beyond to make sure that we all had a clear understanding of the procedures my son would be going through, and what we could expect throughout the whole process. Our experience with Dr. Wick has been nothing short of perfect and while I'm ecstatic that Dr. Wick has helped my son, its also quite sad to know that we will no longer be seeing him regularly. I would 1,000,000% recommend Dr. Wick to anyone who needs help in his area of expertise.

My Cochlear implant internal device failed (internal device was 24 years old) and I was referred to Dr. Wick to get my second Cochlear Implant surgery scheduled. He is a knowledgeable doctor who knows what he is doing and cared about his patients. From the time of my appointment (October 12th) to the actually surgery day (October 20th), he was able to answer all of my questions and made sure I understood what was going to happen each step of the way. I am so grateful for Dr. Wick's team and everyone that was around me to help me get my hearing back!

From initial routine appointments to recent post-surgery and recovery, Team-Wick, Dr. Wick, and his awesome team of dedicated health care professionals, have provided superb, compassionate care, and kindness to our son with "special needs". We were pleased that our son immediately took to Dr. Wick. During pre-surgery visits he interpreted CAT-scan imaging, presented diagnosis (right canal-wall down tympanomastiodectomy without ossiculoplasty) and future game plan to our comprehension. Dr. Wick put us at ease and we felt confident in his professional knowledge and skills as we went forward. And the results turned out as he communicated. We would recommend Dr. Wick without hesitation! Heartfelt THANKS to you and awesome staff for taking care of Adam!!

After 13 years of putting off middle ear surgery, missing most conversations, pretending to hear, and using a somewhat helpful hearing aide, I was referred to Dr. Wick. An initial evaluation and a detailed explanation, along with a question and answer session, convinced me that middle ear surgery was the best path forward for my hearing loss. Dr. Wick (and of course, his wonderful office team) changed my life! My hearing has improved beyond my greatest expectation. Sure, I lost my balance for a few days, and my taste is still off a bit, but my hearing has improved tremendously. When I had post surgery concerns (balance, taste, nausea), Dr. Wick personally called me and had me come into the office prior to my scheduled appointment only to reassure me that everything was going to be fine. He was confident the surgery was a success and I believed him. My concerns were short lived. My only regret is not having the surgery earlier. I can hear again! Thank you Dr. Wick!

I came from Jordan to US as an international patient I had about 10 years hearing problems, I had a surgery 10 years ago didn’t help, I visited other doctors in Jordan and Saudi they said if I do surgery there is only 30% chance to treat my hearing ,my friend recommended me Dr Wick, doctor Wick accepted me to visit him and he said there is 80% chance to recover my hearing, we made an appointment for the surgery, Dr Wick made the surgery, it was a big challenge to make both ears at the same time but he did it successfully . Today One month after the surgery i can hear without using hearing aids i am very happy to be one of dr wick patients.

I rarely bother leaving reviews but feel this one is well deserved. I have been experiencing issues with my hearing so I scheduled an appointment with Dr. Wick (ENT). I was warmly greeted by Dr. Wick's staff and things only got better from there. I had a thorough hearing test by Lydia who was fantastic. She explained everything she was doing which put me at ease. Afterwards, I was taken to a medical room by Kara. She explained what the next steps would be when the doctor came in. She was both personable and professional. She was so knowledgeable and caring which made me feel like I was at the right place. I never felt rushed and was asked many questions to ensure a proper diagnosis. Dr. Wick was terrific and made me feel like I was the only patient he had. I highly recommend him as well as his entire staff. Its uncommon to find both a great doctor, short waits and also a warm staff. Job well done by all.
