Dr. Canan Sahin-Kandemir, MD

Let me start by saying she has no bed side manners. You could tell none of the nurses liked her and questioned her decisions. I was given an epidural which wore off and I was given one again. I had a csection and when she began to cut I told her I could feel it. Of course she continued to cut which resulted in me projectile vomiting from the pain and I kept going passing out. To top it off this "dr." Lied on the reports saying I was satisfied with my epidural and never mentioned how I felt everything!

Dr. Sahin told me I was gaining too much weight with my second pregnancy, the other doctors had not mentioned a problem. She also told me that my daughter, whom she had never met, would be smarter if I had breastfed her until she was 2. My body, my choice! She made my husband very uncomfortable and asked me if I was comfortable with him being in the room, which I found offensive, he is my husband and the father to my children!! Very rude and unprofessional, terrible bed side manner.

Dr Sahin loves medial lateral episiotomies and has little patience so get ready to be cut if she is your MD. These episiotomies are very painful to heal and no other MD does them. Do your research.

Dr Sahin is such a pleasure to visit! She is so thorough in explaining the medical aspect of things. She is kind and friendly. I always feel better after meeting with her. And the best thing is that she never rushes her patients, she takes her time and makes you feel important.

Of all the doctors I've been to she is my absolute favorite.
