Dr. Carolyn Walsh, MD

Dr. Walsh was very helpful getting my daughter on the right path for proper Lyme treatment in 2015. But when we went back to her in 2023, we were surprised when she suddenly stopped responding to our emails and messages. Since she works in an office by herself, that's the only way to reach her, no receptionist to speak to. It was very disappointing to have our physician stop working with us mid-treatment. If something happens that she can't see patients, she needs to let her patients currently under her care know this. We waited MONTHS for a response to our calls and emails about changing meds and it just delayed getting proper treatment.

Carolyn is thoughtful, listens well and extremely helpful in all of my 77 years. We moved out of Leesburg but continue to go to her for help with medical issues. I don’t feel like a number or a $$ to her when I visit.

Dr. Walsh is the most patient, compassionate, understanding, and kind doctor I have ever encountered. She is also extremely knowledgeable in many medical areas, and I highly recommend her services. You will not be disappointed.

She wouldn’t see my sister although my sister was willing to private pay.

Dr Walsh was only doctor after a year of Lyme treatment to get my symptoms under control and goes out of her way to answer questions in a laypersons terms that we can understand. I drive 3 hours to see her. She treats patients as a whole.

Dr. Carolyn Walsh, is a very caring doctor, who is a trained specialist by the best in the world. If she cannot figure out your illness. By all means keep searching for your answer to your health problem. It took almost 2 years & 20 doctors later for me to be diagnosed. In Massachusetts of all states not Virginia. Then the doctor in Massachusetts sent me to her preferred specialists to maintain my health.
