I certainly have had a different experience with Dr. Womack. She has been wonderful to me. She is extremely smart, compassionate, professional. I have seen her for over ten years and not one time has her diagnosis been wrong or has she ever been rude. She is the best doctor that I have ever had. I love her.

One and done! I’ve never been treated with such disrespect. Went bc I had blood work in my small town that indicated I might have RA. Decided to bring lab results & have results confirmed so as to seek a referral to a Dr. in the “big” city. When asked first thing, why I was there, I told her. She smirked a bit, then immediately asked to see my hands. Then, throwing my hands down, she said about as rudely as could be said, “You don’t have RA, & besides, that’s not even the best blood test for that condition.” Long and short of it, the new bloodwork, with the tests she though was better, confirmed what the other tests indicated. I got a follow-upletter telling me I needed to see a rheumatologist. I couldn’t help crying when I got to my car after that visit, that day. I was treated like a Dr.-shopper looking to score more opioids!! Never been treated with such disdain by a Dr. Found a good rheumatologist & was diagnosed with RA. Had already caused lots of damage below the waist.

Simply put, Dr. Womack saved my life. I've always had a wonky EKG, I've had a few stress tests that didn't show any issues. She insisted on more extensive tests, which led to a heart catheter test, which showed major blockages in 4 arteries. I never had a heart attack, shortness of breath or any of the typical signs of major heart issues. No previous doctor had ever pushed me to get to the bottom of the EKG tests to the extent that she did. A great doctor!

I have not seen this doctor, however, I did attempt to schedule an appointment both on line and by phone. After being up front about having medicare and supplemental insurance I was told the doctor would review my application. It took 3 days of daily contact on my part for her to decide she wasn't accepting medicare patients. I could not understand why she nor her staff failed to realize this upon my initial contact. The staff made me feel like a second class citizen.
