Dr. Castro spent over an hour advising me regarding cancer treatment. He was extremely knowledgeable, and patient . I am very fortunate to have him on my team . He is true professional and an asset to the Cancer center at MGH.

I was referred to consult with Dr. Castro as a high risk breast cancer patient. He spoke to my husband and me honestly and openly, offering complete explanations of the pros and cons of the available options to mitigate my risk. He took all the time we needed to answer all of our questions, giving us the distinct impression that nothing was more important to him than helping us understand what each option involved. He knew that decisions would not be made in that visit and suggested that we take the time we needed to absorb the information. He also advised us to speak with additional professionals who we might reach out to for further discussion of my particular case to ultimately make the right choices. I trust him!
