Dr. Bowie is such a great doctor. I am a police officer who was experiencing severe shoulder and arm pain with complete numbness in my dominant arm. As an officer and a defensive tactics instructor I was becoming extremely limited on my ability to do my job. After trying several remedies including injections in the neck, physical therapy, and needling I was referred to a surgeon, Dr. Bowie. My initial consultation he made me feel so comfortable and took care of everything in the initial visit as I was driving 2 and half hours to BR. I had surgery to have 2 artificial disc placed at c4 5 and 5 to 6. I stayed one night in the hospital and was released the next day, not only was Dr. Bowie great but the entire experience including the hospital stay. My recovery was extremely quick, I was actually cutting grass 2 weeks post op on the mower. I am 3 years post op and have no pain, no limitations and very few people believe I have 2 artificial disc. I would definitely recommend the Dr.

Dr. Bowie’s keen precision to detail is truly unmatched. After 2 surgeries with him for my neck and then my back I can truly say I am pain free. I credit this to Dr. Bowie’s skill set and his collaboration and leadership of his incredible team. Dr. Bowie and the NeuroMedical Center are my #1 choice. A truly gifted neurosurgeon.

Dr. Bowie came highly recommended. I found that he is definitely worth the 2.5 hour trip to see him. From start to finish, he, his staff, and all the hospital staff were wonderful. If you need back, neck or spinal surgery, Dr. Bowie is the man to see!

I had been have discomfort in neck/cervical area for several years. Dr Bowie recommended sx and I am glad I decided to have it done. After 7 months I am feeling better than I have in years. Nurses are also fantastic. Take time and explain everything in detail.

I had two, back to back minimally invasive surgeries with him in 2021. He came highly recommended and I feel this was the worst mistake I could have ever made. Not only am I not better, I never felt any relief after either surgeries from the get go. He wanted to do a 3rd, but that would be a no go for me. I've worked with many neurosurgeons before, but his patient care skills are terrible. He's very dismissive and doesn't seem to care. You will see his nurse and PA more than you will ever see him. His office staff isn't any better. I had so many issues getting information lined up because I'm from out of town. Getting them to be on the same page was like pulling teeth. They were rude. I did more crying during my 14 week recovery due to mental frustration with him and his staff. I work in healthcare and this was by far my worst experience. Remember, your staff is a direct representation of you and your business. I give 3 stars because Nicole (RN) and Valerie (PA) were nice...

I would definitely recommend Dr Bowie. Did neck surgery September 20 and the best decision I made… I just thank God that everything worked out the way it did. And having Dr Bowie recommended to me was a God Send! Also the staff are Amazing as well!!

Dr. Bowie performed surgery on my lower back having to insert 2 rods and 8 screws to allow for less pain and greater mobility. The surgery was successful and I am now recovering. Although the recovery has taken quiet a while, it is progressing well. I would definitely recommend Dr. Bowie for anyone experiencing back issues. The Spine Hospital of Louisiana provided excellent, professional care. I would also highly recommend it.

Very pleasant experience

Dr. Bowie performed a Spinal Fusion Surgery on my lower back in March 2021. I had not been able to walk properly and without great pain for 2 1/2 Years. My Cousin recommended Dr. Bowie to me. DR. Bowie listened to my concerns, and encouraged me to ask questions. I was treated with kindness and Compassion by Dr. Bowie and his Staff. The Surgery was a great success. I can walk again without pain. Dr. Bowie gave me my life back, and I am so grateful for that. He explained the Surgery to me, and after the surgery, I received great support whenever I called his office. I could not have asked for a better Doctor!

Dr Bowie and his staff are top-notch. Could not ask for a better experience. Surgery was minimally invasive and recovery was quick. Hospital is clean and well-maintained; great care from initial appointment to follow up visit.

Dr. Bowie is a great surgeon. My mom broke her back due to bad osteoporosis. The skills he possess has given my mom the opportunity to be pain free and able to walk. Thank you Dr. Bowie!
