Dr. Stanger did a great job on my cervical fusion. He was confident and reassuring. Recovery was easier than expected. I will most likely need lower back surgery in the future and will definitely go to him for that. I trust him.

Amazing Doctor & Staff
Dr. Stanger has performed 2 different surgeries on me, neck fusion and lower back discectomy, and I am living pain free! He and his staff (Sarah, Mhylin & Allie) were so great pre and post surgeries. Wouldn’t go anywhere else but to Dr. Stanger for chronic pain!!!

I had two surgeries in three months related to an automobile accident. Procedure Jargon: Fusion C3-C5 and Fusion/TLIF L5/S1 Dr. Stanger and PA. Sara O'Neal are in my mind, "GOD SENT". I look forward to full recovery, pursuing my love for golf. Physical therapy and two more months of carefulness- post op and I'm off to play my best. If you are looking for a top facility and a team headed by the "GREAT" neurosurgeon, Dr. Richard Stanger, your pain and life happiness is in reach. Dr. Stanger's moral skill sets: Professional, educational, meticulous, preoperative tests to ensure success at time of surgery. He calms your mind, most of all his love for patients and love of practice is contagious. Take it from me, a patient and a son of two parents that also had success with skillfull hands. Good on you, Dr. Stanger!

Dr. Stanger gave me my life back. I fell and broke my back shattering the vertebra two years ago. Another surgeon, not with his practice performed a surgery that left me in excruciating pain for a year. I went to see Dr. Stanger, he did an MRI and C/T and told me the only option was for him to perform an extremely painful surgery to remove the original old hardware and place titanium vertebra and larger rods. He suggested I get a second opinion, which I did and the second doctor suggested the same surgery. I am 7 months post-op and I am almost pain-free. His bedside manner is amazing and he spends as much time as needed to explain anything he is doing.

Dr. Stanger just completed anterior cervical decompression and fusion 4 levels C3 - C7 on my neck. The procedure went fine. No real pain; or trouble swallowing as expected. This is the second procedure Stanger has performed on me. No doubt about it, he is educated; trustworthy; detail oriented; and takes his time to maximize the procedure while minimizing surgery after effects for the patient. The Spine Hospital is second to none! Everyone is on the same page and have outstanding personalities.

Dr. Stanger has the best bed side manner ever. From the moment he walks into the room it is all about me and it doesn't matter how many questions I ask he has time to answer them. If my spouse is in the room with us and he has questions Dr. Stanger does not hesitate to answer him and make sure that we both understand. He performed my ACDF surgery in Nov. 16 and I have been almost pain free since. He and his staff are absolutely wonderful and treat you like family!
