My first encounter with Dr Wilcott was very unpleasant... i would not recommend him...he isn't very empathetic...and a bit aggressive...and his choice of words are very unbecoming for a Doctor..I'm glad he isn't my regular Dr.!!!!

Thankfully, my experience with him should be the last due to him being a fill in for my normal pcp. Very rude/unprofessional. Didn't even have the decency to introduce himself upon entering room. Ignored my questions and told me he could do nothing about the pain I was experiencing nor would he examine the area due to him not giving out pain meds. Newsflash everyone whos in pain isn't looking for drugs. Instead of figuring out what the pain could be, he dismissed my concerns. 1/2 star if I could

During my physical last month, our conversation turned toward work-induced anxiety. I attempted to brush it off because "I'm stronger than that". Dr. Walcott took the conversation seriously and we discussed ways to reduce work-induced stress and increase joy. Through this interaction he demonstrated understanding that there is more to health than just the condition of the body - he is interested in the whole person.

I've had a couple of visits with Dr Walcott and always left feeling that I received quality care without excess. I've been impressed with his availability to speak with me on the phone when I intended to just leave a message for him. Hopefully he stays around, would like to have him as my PCP for many years. Bonus that he is a veteran.

Dr. Walcott has no business being a physician. he forced a patient to quit an antidepressant cold turkey with no explanation other than he doesn't have to prescribe anything he does not want to, which is a huge No-No and can have very adverse effects. He takes no time to actually listen to patients and he is a horrible doctor I hope L&M fires him soon. In my opinion he is inconsiderate bordering on he is inconsiderate bordering on negligent and I will be writing a formal complaint to L&M.

When I asked about the existence of a medical test, he laughed at me in the exam room, with my spouse there for several minutes. Took a while to gather himself, and said he would have to share that "joke" with his colleagues at a social event later. I have never felt so embarrassed to ask my Dr a question. This happened on my initial intake visit when I was concerned about the possible presence of cancer.
