In my neighborhood
I was referred to Dr. Ferrier after my doctor of 23 years in DC retired. Her office is convenient to my home and my first visit occurred during Covid. I appreciated the time she spent with me and thought she was concerned and engaged. I was there for regular care, nothing serious

Unnecessary C-Section
Receptionist openly gossips about patients, and can be extremely rude at times. Dr.Ferrier only presents gloom and doom to convince you to have c-section for no good reason. As a result, my recovery time was really difficult and she performed a myomectomy at the same time and told us after the fact as an oh by the way. My husband was furious because I couldn't walk for several days after the c-section. Ladies beware...go to someone else ,especially if it's your first pregnancy.

I would like to report a problematic situation which occurred during my recent visit to your office. The receptionist attitude and treatment was disturbing and uncalled for. She was rude and petulant to me as I asked some simple questions to clarfy the excellent treatment I received from Dr. Ferrier. She at times ignored my questions or would simplely respond with a sarcastic tone implying my apparent ignorance. This is not the first time this has happened. I greatly appreciate the medical treatment of Dr. Ferrier but if this front office treatment continues i may have to reevaluate my patronage.

I would leave zero stars if possible. I left the visit crying- both from pain and humiliation. My pap hurt as I am very sensitive during my women's wellness exams and she repeatedly said that I should be fine. It was a horrible experience that women should not have to go through when receiving medical care.

Dr Ferrier took over this practice when my previous Dr Thurston retired. Dr. Ferrier is caring, empathetic to my needs, gives practical, medical advice and orders, excellent surgical follow up care and served me through multiple GYN surgeries to healing. I love the way she serves.
