Dr. Kovats is my favorite Dr of all time.I have had multiple appointments with him and he always spends as much time with me as I need. He is respectful, always pleasant and very easy to talk to and work with. He is always encouraging regarding my health and from my first first, he is very thorough. I contacted his office today, 9.11.24, to schedule an appointment with him and was told he is no longer practicing at Palm Medical Center in Sanford, Florida. Does anyone know where his new location is? I would love to follow him and continue being his patient. Thank you.

I took my mom to this Doctor. He was very very thorough. My mom is 75 years old and on over 21 medication’s and he is helping her all of the other doctors are just adding more and more medication’s on top of everything. This doctor actually cares. He actually took the time and went through all of her ailments. I like him so much that I made an appointment to see him myself. Also, the staff was very thorough and very kind.

Friendly staff at front office, on time for appointment. Doctor is very friendly, takes his time and answers ALL your questions.

Business is run poorly, always running behind and not enough staff. Doctor is not a good listener and will easily send a prescription to the wrong pharmacy. As long as you don't have anything serious you will be fine but if struggling with your health another doctor would be recommended.

This is my 2nd time seeing this doctor and it will be the last time. Completely unprofessional in every way. He speaks in a condescending tone and barely ever lets you get a word in. How can you diagnose me properly if you don’t give me the opportunity to speak? He did this at both my in-person and virtual/phone appt. At the first appt (in person) I thought maybe he was rushing me and being rude because he was having a bad day. Nope, today was the same thing. He is really quick to cut you off and just assume he thinks he knows what you’re going to say then suddenly diagnoses you and sends off meds to the pharmacy. God forbid you ask a question, he’ll talk down to you as if you’re dumb. He will not even attempt to do proper lab work and testing. It wasn’t until I told him how rude he was treating me that he toned it down but was still being rude. By that point I realized I was done with him. I pay $400 for health insurance monthly + $20-$60 copays for these visits. I’m not going to spend another dime at this office. He should be embarrassed of himself. Went to school to get a degree and carries himself with zero integrity, class, or empathy and lacks the ability to be a decent human being. He’s gotten away with this because people are afraid to speak up to him or they just don’t know any better.

Dr. Kovats is everything I could hope for and then some. Appointment was 5 minutes early, Dr was pleasant, knowledgeable of potential medications changes in the future, listened without interruption (I have a speech impediment), explained everything perfectly, quick, sharp intellect, courteous but quick. I’ve found my new PCP!

All I'm going to say is that this guy has a very bad temper. I corroborated this by speaking to some of his staff who also agreed. His exact words to me on the phone were "if you talk over me I'm going to slam the phone on you". I have never seen a doctor talk to his patients that way. It's time to move on. Patients beware

By far the BEST doctor I have EVER been to. He listens and is incredibly knowledgeable easy to book a quick appointment the staff is also top notch. I read reviews before I made an appointment and I would drive from out of state to visit him also. I was injured at work sent to a Dr. who saw me 6 times did zero tests, scans or xrays on me. Dr. Kovats immediately sent me to get an mri and bloodwork. Three slipped discs and pinched nerves. Prior Dr. told me nothing was wrong with me and asked me what I wanted him to do for me also stating sometimes people just have to live with pain and you do need a job don't you? It takes a lot to say I'm in pain I am incredibly tough even going back to work a day after giving birth to my son so luckily I have an amazing husband who insisted I got a second opinion. I wish I had done it sooner I had been sleeping on two heating pads for over a year before seeing Dr. Kovats hes been my Dr. since December 2019 and slowly feeling better thanks to him.

I requested a refill on my Ulcerative Colitis medicine while I am stuck out of town with a very bad flare. The flare is so bad I cannot leave the house and do not know when I will be able to return to Florida because of it. The Dr refused to help me out and told me to go to an urgent care to have them refill it. I will never go back to this guy again and wouldn't recommend him to anyone.

I KNOW DR KOVATS FROM HIS PRACTICE IN OVIEDO FLORIDA. HE WAS MY DOCTOR FOR OVER 15 YEARS. HE WAS FANTASTIC!!! VERY CARING, KNOWLEDGEABLE AND FRIENDLY!!!! I MISS HIM!!!
