We were incredibly fortunate to be in the care of Dr. Mitchell during our fertility journey. From our first meeting with her, we were impressed with how caring, informative, thorough and straightforward she was. She answered all our questions promptly and her input was invaluable in making a stressful and emotional journey feel manageable and hopeful. We highly recommend her to anyone navigating their fertility journey.

Dr. Michell is amazing! We looked at several fertility clinics in the area, but ultimately chose Shady Grover because of how thorough Dr. Mitchell was from the beginning. Dr. Mitchell showed up to our initial consult with a power point presentation explaining fertility, some things that may be going on with our case, and treatment options. While many clinics wanted us to go straight to IVF, Dr. Mitchel wanted to conduct additional testing to make sure my body was working appropriately prior to even starting treatment which we greatly appreciated. Dr. Mitchell was excellent at explaining each course of treatment and what to expect as we started IUI and ultimately IVF. Dr. Mitchell is compassionate and really cares about her patients. With each negative test I had come back you could hear she was also disappointed and felt for us. When we finally had a positive test, I think we both cried! Dr. Mitchell was a huge blessing to our family, and we will be back to see her next year and years

Dr. Mitchell is great! From our first visit, she was extremely helpful, taking time to understand our history and review the IVF process with us in detail. She is realistic about goals, while remaining optimistic. Because of her and everyone at Shady Grove, we are successfully pregnant! Highly recommend!

Dr. Mitchell was mine and my husband's doctor at Shady Grove and to say we appreciate all she did is an understatement. From the very first consultation, Dr. Mitchell made my husband and I feel at ease and reassured. Having a infertility diagnosis felt so scary and left us with so many questions about the future, but Dr. Mitchell helped ease our fears. She is extremely knowledgeable, and always explained each step of the process in a way that made sense to us. Because of Dr. Mitchell, we are successfully pregnant and expecting our miracle baby. I had a great experience with Dr. Mitchell and am 'graduating' after a few months in her care! She is easily the best doctor I’ve ever had. During my infertility journey, she took the time to explain each step, discuss options, and make sure that I felt informed and empowered throughout the process. With Dr. Mitchell, I felt like I actually had options and was an active participant in my treatment plan.One of the things that sets her apart is how communicative she is. She personally handled most of my appointments, and when she didn’t, she always made a point to call or send a message to debrief. I was also really impressed by how much she remembered about my history, preferences, and goals when we talked. It’s clear that she genuinely cares about her patients and is invested in their success.I would recommend Dr. Mitchell to any of my family and friends and will trust her again with my care in the future.

We loved everyone at SGF from the front desk to the embryologists. Dr. Mitchell always did an amazing job explaining everything in great detail and ensuring all of our questions were answered until we fully understood. She comforted me with kind words and hugs when I broke down in her office. She educated us on situations, gave options, and allowed us to make our own educated decisions. We are so grateful for this amazing group of people. Ellie, Bri, Ray and others were also such a positive part of my visits.

I had a wonderful experience at Shady Grove Fertility with Dr. Mitchell. After completing different parts of my fertility journey at other fertility clinics in the triangle, I ultimately transfered to SGF and they are truly the best clinic in the area. Dr. Mitchell is amazing. She takes time to explain the complicated steps of IVF and answer any questions. She explains options and really takes into account your preferences to find the best treatment plan for you. I loved that she would call to deliver important results and to check on me. I don't think I've ever had a physician call me regularly and it really eased a lot of anxiety to feel so supported. She was really kind and comforting when I was anxious about the egg retrieval and transfer procedures. I always felt like she cared about my physical comfort and mental well being throughout the process. I am currently pregnant, and it was a bittersweet day to leave her care and transition to an OB provider. I would recommend this pract

I worked with Dr. Mitchell recently at Shady Grove and was SO impressed with both her warm personality and ability to educate. She actually presented slideshows in our appts to explain complex processes and fertility options, making sure we had a clear understanding of everything that lay ahead. She calmed my nerves, answered the simplest of questions, and was there for us every step of the way. It is hard to find a doctor who not only cares about you but can also give you unbiased information and statistics to give you a clear understanding of your health. For us, she was the perfect advocate during an extremely challenging time in our lives. I wish she was a PCP so I could see her all the time!

When I first started my journey at Shady Grove, I had so many questions & concerns that were running through my mind. Dr. Mitchell is such a kind & informative doctor that was able to break down & throughly explain fertility options for me. She also put me at ease & she was always right there to answer anything I ever needed from her. Dr. Mitchell monitored me throughout my treatments & made a couple adjustments that resulted in a successful outcome for me.We started on a treatment plan together & in a very short period of time, I am now pregnant with my first. I cannot recommend Dr. Mitchell & the whole team at SGF enough for your fertility care.

I have needed a few attempts to get pregnant with my second child. Her intelligence, confidence, determination, kindness and is the reason I made it here to 8 weeks. First off, she is so sharp, and I mean crazy smart. She obviously knows the ins and outs every step the process. She is clear about my options, willing to lead with confidence and still respecting my desires and opinions. Her confidence and motivation is contagious and kept me going while I was experiencing the natural highs and lows of the process. At no point in time did I feel hopeless and was always comforted by next steps and kind words. But Dr. Mitchell truly is extra. I felt like her only patient. I know this was not the case, but it felt like it! She was always the once to review labs asap, deliver important information, be the one to perform my . Obviously smart and talented but I cant speak enough to her kindness. It is my firm belief that she 100000X capable of leading someone to pregnancy success

Dr. Mitchell is an excellent doctor. She is very knowledgeable and an expert in her field. She communicates with warmth and clarity. I always felt like I was in great hands with her (and the whole Shady Grove team). Thanks to Dr. Mitchell's care, I am now happily pregnant. Dr. Mitchell is a gem for Shadygrove. I cannot tell you how comfortable she made me feel during a very vulnerable moment in my life. She deeply cares about her patients and their desires to start a family however that will look like for them. She does not make you feel like a number, but a person. She is very warm with impeccable bedside manners, and she listens to your concerns while helping you understand your treatment options. She is very thorough in explaining the complex world of fertility which I love as I can better make informed decisions. The beautiful thing is, she’s an advocate with you and for me, that makes all the difference in this journey. I am , truly saddened that I will need to go elsewhere due to work, but I am eternally grateful that our paths crossed even for a short time.
