Great psychiatrist! Listens to me with great care and detail. Asks questions. It makes me feel heard, and he explains things to me. Appreciate him.

Didn't feel like he listened to me. Put me on so many meds I had difficulty functioning, and when I told him this he just gave me more meds. When I asked to be weaned off, he told me that wasn't a good idea. He said if I didn't take my meds I could die or go to jail. After my dad died, my mental health declined a bit, and someone told my insurance this because soon afterwards insurance dropped me because they only help people with mild to moderate illness, and now that I've lost a loved one they bumped it up to severe and I lost coverage. I had to cold turkey off of the massive amount of meds he had me on, which almost killed me. I have never had such a bad experience with a psychiatrist before. Ever since this incident, I have been scared to take pills, or return to get any mental health assistance from Kaiser.
