The Absolute Best!
On September 21, 2022, I had a robotic-assisted laparoscopic radical prostatectomy (RALRP) at the University of Utah’s Huntsman Cancer Institute. On November 1, I received a formal title of cancer survivor from my wonderful surgeon, Dr. Christopher Dechet. Dr Dechet and his staff provided wonderful support throughout the entire process. I have never had such quick and easy access to the support staff around a doctor as I did with his staff, even with the COVID scare to consider. The Huntsman Nurses Line is a wonder as well. Usually manned, with excellence advice and support, and when I had to leave a message, I ALWAYS got a reply within 24 hours, and usually just 1 or 2. Kind. Supportive. Caring. Competent. Communicative. I cannot say enough good things about these folks. They will work their hardest to give you the best outcome possible.

Dr. Dechet over sells himself:"95% of my patients are able to achieve erections after surgery, scar will barely be visable"etc. His work did not live up to his hype. No post surgery penile rehab. Addresses patients as "Mr. So and so"
