Had kidney stone he removed it, and also removed the stent after. He explains everything to you that you need to know. He answers all your questions no matter how many you have. He is a wonderful Doctor.

Dr. Whelan is an amazing doctor. His skill as a surgeon is outstanding, and his bedside manor is very personable and reassuring as well as informative. He always takes his time in going over everything and does not make you feel rushed. I felt complete confidence in him throughout my entire procedure and follow up care.

Amazing surgeon, but even better bedside care. As the family member of the patient, I felt just as cared for as my husband. My questions were answered and I felt as though our family was the only one in Dr. Whelan's care!

Best surgeon ever that i have experienced and I have had more than my share! A doctor who will make sure you understand what he is sharing with you, knowledgeable, and awesome bedside care. He not only made sure I fully understood what was going in, he also made sure family members did as well which alleviates a lot of stress for me not having to explain and reexplaining!. I am proud to wear the CW marks (DR's inked initials on surgery side on skin).
