Dr. Claude Fortin, MD

I have debilitating migraines. He had no bedside manner and treated me like a drug abuser which has never happened. Would not recommend

He is a excellent doctor

Dr. Fortin and his staff are the best. The doctor spends time with you and does not make you feel rushed. I had been suffering from debilitating migraines and have not had one for four months now. The office staff are incredible, they answer the phone, call back actually help you. I have never experienced such helpful staff at an office and I'm not young!! They all truly go above and beyond.

We went to Dr. Fortin after several discouraging appointments at a different neurologist, and it was the first appointment that made us feel listened to and validated. He listened so so well to us and looked into every.possible.factor that could be affecting us. So thankful for an encouraging appointment with a listening doctor.

It’s funny when you schedule an appointment with the doctor it’s rare for them to reschedule because of an appointment or some thing going on in her life. But I found the Dr. Claude Fortin. Would schedule most things so that you would have to reschedule in his office would make you feel like you were the one that was the problem. They wouldn’t refill prescriptions they wouldn’t take care of their patients in overtime you would feel like you were being miss treated as a patient. No as a human. Finally Clyde Fortin’s office graciously said that they wouldn’t serve me anymore because they couldn’t get their scheduling correct. What does it take to be a decent person and do the right thing hopefully you’re going to retire so that other people suffer what I went through.

Dr Fortin has helped me tremendously with my Guillian Barre Syndrome and my pain! He is thorough and leaves no stone unturned! I am looking forward to my visit with him tomorrow morning to discuss my physical therapy amongst other things such as pain maintenance. He has much compassion with the elderly.

am new to Colorado so I went to him for a recurring problem. He took the time to understand my history and asked several questions to clarify other methods and treatments I had considered and tried. Found him to be knowledgeable and easy to speak with.

I was very blessed to have Dr. Fortin as my neurologist for Cervical Dystonia for 14 years in Springfield, IL. He is very attentive and always made me feel like he truly cared about me. I've been lost since Dr. Fortin left but I'm so glad he got out of our crummy state!

The wait time to see Dr Fortin (as a new patient) was over 5 weeks which was a miserable wait with many migraines. When I did get in to see him, he demonstrated good bedside manner and listened. I placed a call to his office a few days after I started a new medication for migraine prevention. He called back to ask how the medication was working and spoke with me about trying another med since the first was causing side effects. I was surprised that he called back, not the nurse or MA!

He recommended that I try a new medication for my disorder. However, when my insurance company required further information and testing, he did not comply. 3 1/2 months and 2 follow-up calls, nothing had been done to write a letter or make a referral for the test.

I was referred to Dr. Fortin for some tests. I found him to be knowledgable, professional and very interested in what I had to say. After other doctors treated me as if I'm senile, I appreciated his attention. I have told a friend she should try to switch from her neurologist to Dr. Fortin. I have confidence in him.
