Zero bed side manners
I suffer from mental health issues (anxiety disorder, crippling panic attacks, depression, ptsd) and at our first initial appointment to go over a hernia repair (2nd repair with a horrid experience the first time). I was visibly shaken and very nervous and I told him why and he completely discredited my mental health challenges that I was having. He then told me we won't schedule a repair until I can control my mental health issue's. You know, if I could do that I would have done that back in 2013 when I was diagnosed I would have you idiot. Do you think living this way everyday of my life is fun? It is not, even with medication.

I had hernia repair in the same are I had a repair done 28 years ago. It was laparoscopic then, and now it is robotics. Dr. Hall explained the robotics process, which looked very similar in concept to laparoscopic, but is now all done with robotics. Dr. Hall explained that since it was a repair of a repair, there would be scar tissue, and that I was 28 years older could mean the recovery process may be a little longer, but very similar. This has been my experience. I was in recovery for about 5 hours compared to 90 minutes 28 years ago, and I did used the pain meds every 12 hours (instead of 6 hours) 3 times, and that was it. I highly recommend Dr. Hall.

Dr Hall is very personal and professional. He explained my hernia repair procedure thoroughly in a way that is easy to understand. He is a good listener and answered all of my questions. The best part is that in went home the same day following surgery. Very little pain. More of a slight pulling when I move. I did not need pain medication. I walked the dog the next day. It's been two weeks and I feel back to normal.
