Extremely Knowledgeable
I've been one of Dr. Alford's patients for several years, and she has always been helpful, personable, and thorough. On my latest visit, she noticed a spot the size of the dot on the letter 'i' on my nose and became suspicious of it. She performed a small biopsy, which revealed the dot to be a miniscule part of a large growth under the skin which had to be removed. I am grateful for her astute attention to a seemingly innocuous growth which revealed a real problem.

I have been a MetroDerm patient for a little over a year. This was my 1st visit with Dr. Alford. I found her to be very professional, friendly and compassionate. She listened very carefully to my history and did a very thorough examination. She was not in any way rushed and made certain that I clearly understood my diagnoses, treatment plan and answered all questions to my satisfaction. I enthusiastically recommend Dr. Alford for any dermatological issue.

Had to wait a half hour+ on each visit. Other reviews, Dr. Arnold is very knowledgeable and nice... but THE office routinely overbooks . Great for revenue at patient's inconvenience & expense. My last visit was for a 5 mins three month follow up to a small surgical procedure. I arrived early & was not informed of any delay after waiting a 1/2 hour was told it would be another 20+ minutes. I am a keep appointments & expect others to do so. I understand that in the medical profession that delays occur... If there is an unexpectd delay patients should be informed AT THE TIME they check in so their day is not adversely impacted. By the way, both myself & spouse have spent decades in healthcare and I have done a preceptorship in wound care. Offices often overbook to increase revenue. In fairness, Dr Arnold is a skilled physician but should address this consistent problem in their office. Write a review or walk out. Your actions motivate changes.

Dr. Corrie Alford is one of the best dermatologist I have met in over 20 years. She is the ultimate professional, knowledgeable, patient, kind, and gives her all to each patient. I have struggled with acne since elementary school and unwanted facial hair the last 10 years. Dr. Alford methods and care has finally allowed me to have clear skin. I no longer have to hide behind long hair and neck scarfs. If you have any dermatological issues that remain unresolved, please do not suffer in silence. Make an appointment for a visit with Dr. Alford, I promise this will change your life. After years of visiting other dermatologists with unfavorable results, I recommend Dr. Alford. She will diagnose you properly and get the job done right the first time.

I've been going to Dr. Alford since I was in middle school. She not only has a solution for each issue, but also empathy for each patient. I genuinely believe she wants to help and heal me just as much as I want to be helped and healed. In college I would drive 2 hours home just to see her because that's how much she impacted me. Not just through dermatology, but with her compassion as well. She is sometimes busy, so if you need to make an appointment with her PA, she is AWESOME as well!
