Dr. Courtenay Havers, MD

I’d seen her for several months & suddenly began experiencing the worst pain imaginable I both my hands. It was so severe I couldn’t even turn the door knob to get out of my bedroom. Contacting her office I was informed she was booked out for quite some time by a rude nurse. I requested to be able to speak to Dr and after a few rude comments and a very long time on hold, Dr Havers got on the phone obviously perturbed at being bothered to take a phone call. After discussing what was going on and how severe the pain was- like both hands were being squeezed in a vice and never letting up. I asked if there were anyway she could get me in any sooner because I didn’t know how I’d make it for even that day…what could I do to ease the pain so it was tolerable. With the iciest coldest voice I’ve ever heard, she said “Wear a hat & gloves” and hung up on me!!! (Added insult-it was not cold) being new to the area I didn’t know where to turn. Somebody told me about prompt care-dx with RA same day

Dr. Havers always listens well to my concerns. She works well with the specialists she has sent me too and is on top of communications with them.
