Extremely caring and knowledgeable
Dr. Simpson is very warm and personable. She is new to me, but in the two visits I have had with her I learned that she cares and will go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable. I wish I had been seeing her the whole time.

Great
I had to find a new dr due to insurance reasons. My family dr recommended Riverwalk OBGYN. I was assigned to Dr Simpson and I have to say she was great. She was very professional and took the time to talk to me. Front staff was courteous and efficient. I will go back.

Something was off…
The doctor did not even mention or discuss my medical history with me. She was not personable. Did not explain anything during the exam. Did not make mention of when I could expect results from my labs. And left my unsealed specimens on the counter of the exam room when she left out. Also, the visit was rushed. She spent abt 4 minutes in the exam room with me.

HORRIBLE
Simpson was forgetful, unprofessional, did not care. Had high BP twice and she didn't care. Wouldn't even remember baby gender or hardly my name. No one would call me for any of my results for any testing. When I was 28 weeks I switched OBs and had very high BP. Had preeclampsia and gave birth at 31 weeks due to my high BH. Could have been managed if only Simpson cared enough. Thank god I found a new OB who actually listens and cares.

Christina Simpson was absolutely INCREDIBLE! She made me feel so comfortable the entire journey. Very personable & knowledgeable. I had an emergency c-section 2 months early due to severe pre clampsia. Even though it was a stressful situation she handled it swiftly, & most importantly SAFELY! My little preemie is doing well, getting stronger every day and hope to get her home soon. Dr. Simpson checked on me daily in the hospital and after as well. She really goes out of her way for her patients. I couldn’t have asked for a better doctor and staff to take care of our family. HIGHLY recommend her to be your OBGYN if you want a smooth, safe & wonderful journey.

Doctor Simpson is great she found out what was going on with me and helped me carry 2 babies so far to term. She listens to you and actually is sincere and cares about you, your well being and the baby/babies.

Dr. Cristina Simpson is an expert and extremely professional. She is very nice and friendly, I felt very well taken care. Also, all the staff is friendly and they make the visit very pleasant and smooth for every patient. I loved my experience and I will definitely be back.

I have read through all the reviews and don't understand why she has such a bad rating. My appointment was amazing. Dr. Simpson was so kind, understanding, and friendly. She is not the usual doctor I go to, but was very welcoming. She listened to my concerns and did her job well. She was nothing but nice. She was also very on time which I was not prepared for at Riverwalk. This was a great experience and she should have nothing but 5 stars.

I love her!! Had her my entire life and she's always been great.. Understanding and never judge mental ( I was a drug addict for a long time,) and she was always very supportive and encouraging! I too am stunned by the negative reviews as she has always been so amazing for me!

Visited today and as always I found Dr. Simpson to be professional, empathetic, friendly and concerned about solving my issue. I have been seeing her for more than 10 years and will continue to do so. I was a bit stunned when reading a few negative reviews as my experience has been quite different. Perhaps the problem is patient attitude. I would and have recommended Dr. Simpson to others.

If I could give this review 0 stars, then I ABSOLUTELY would. Dr. Simpson has to be the most insensitive, rude, judgmental, and unprofessional Doctor I have ever met. I really wish I would have done my research before confirming an appointment with her. Ladies, please do not make an appointment with Dr. Simpson. Regardless if your PCP referred you. It is not worth it. I have no idea how she is still practicing by just looking at all the bad reviews. Dr. Simpson, if you're so unhappy in life, maybe it's time for you to look into a new profession or seek out some much needed therapy and find a Shrink. I refuse to recommend her to anyone. She did not allow me to ask any questions and when I did ask, I got a snooty attitude. She was insensitive about how I was feeling and could care less about my anxiety being in the office. She had told me, "well, this is for your well being and you're going to have to get over it, quick." What Doctor says things like this. Never again, will I return.

Very OFFENSIVE and very, very, very UNPROFESSIONAL. Waited for at least 1 hour. Very rough when doing the pap smear. Then she wasn't even going to talk to me about the screenings so I asked her, to which she answered with the worst attitude. She passed some lines when she told me I should go to the gym, asked me about religion and ended up derailing on how I should go more to church!! They send every person that speaks Spanish to her. I will never go back, that's for sure.

My experience with Dr Simpson has been excellent over the last 30 years. She has attended to all my routine female concerns as well as a couple of more serious issues. She is professional, compassionate and most of all knowledgeable. In one event, about 20 years ago, she waited for me in her office until my plane arrived from Florida at 7:30pm to see about a terrible pain I developed at the end of my trip. I highly recommend her.

Dr. Simpson is extremely unprofessional and rude. She is short tempered and has no patience for those who have questions in regards to their health such as treatments, diagnosis etc. Unfortunately, I had a horrible experience with Dr. Simpson. I would encourage others to seek care through another provider. This is "healthcare" minus(-)the "care". Please save yourself from being placed in an uncomfortable position. There are many excellent healthcare providers and I will be searching for a new doctor.

Worst doctor I have ever seen. Rude and out of control of her emotions. Correcting her staff in front of me while being rude to me at the same time. So bad I wrote a complaint to the Texas Medical Board.
