Dr. Prowell cared for my mother recently at East Jefferson General Hospital after a heart attack. I found him to be incredibly focused and attuned to my mother's needs, with an eye toward the holistic care of her as a patient. Dr. Prowell went the extra mile in myriad ways to assist her with her critical health issues. He also assisted my family in other ways that were not directly related to mother's health issues. We intend to seek out his care as an internist following her hospitalization.

He was very friendly, professional & truly cared about your health & getting you well. He answered every question & if he didn't know he would found out for you. He was always on the same page with all of your other doctors and never missed a beat. He made you feel comfortable and always took his time with you and didn't rush you. He is a very good doctor and you would be in great hands with Dr. Prowell. He was assigned to me at EJ hospital.
