Best pain Dr I’ve ever had!

Dr. Blanco is pleasant and professional . Obiously very knowledgeable and takes time with you to satisfy your chief complaint.

I have very bad neuropathy in my feet, as well as injuries to my lower back. I have issues that cause extreme pain, but unfortunately, they don't meet the criteria for surgery. I have been seeing Dr. Blanco for a few years and there is not one negative thing I could say. His office staff are the best, and his nurses and assistants are EXCELLENT. Being 53 years old, I've seen my share of pain management physicians and most just throw pills at you and move on to the next patient. Not Dr. Blanco, he takes the time to always explain EVERYTHING!! He explains and physically shows you what's wrong and where it is radiating from. He also takes a moment to just check in to ensure you are doing well. I've never felt rushed and something that is rare in a doctors’ offices, I have ALWAYS felt heard!! That's an anomaly in South Florida. This is an amazing practice and You simply will not find another practice that treats their patients with the utmost care and respect, and you will not find

Great experience with Dr. Blanco. It appears WestMed has a total staff change in pain management. Dr. Blanco and both clearly skilled nurse practitioners. New doctor that took over is now leaving. My primary doctor who I have been seeing over 20 years also left. Not sure what is going on at WestMed but they really are losing some GREAT staff.

Best doctor I've ever known. I live in new york and I would be 100% travel to Delray Beach every month to still see him. He is one doctor that cares. Probably one in a million now a days.

Four days post an excruciatingly painful surgery, my truly excellent surgeon released me from the hospital with a few painkillers and a cheery, "See you in 2 weeks!", without ANY after care plan. Calling the surgeon in rapidly intensifying pain , I was referred to Dr Cy Blanco for pain management. It was the second full day after the surgery and my pain level was making up its own numbers." I crawled into Dr Blanco's office and the front desk professionals could not have moved faster to get me into an exam room. Dr. Blanco came in immediately, very careful and confident and asked pertinent questions related to the surgery and my current condition. He gently examined me and began suggesting treatments to ease my pain. He prescribed the correct pain meds in the appropriate dosage & quantity, and again prescribed and suggested several other more homeopathic treatments which I self-administer. Pain free for 2 weeks and Dr. Blanco is a magician! Bravo & thank you for performing miracles!

Also wondering where Dr. Blanco may have gone . I just got my insurance taken care of .. moved back to NY couldn’t wait to see him . Feeling disappointed and a little defeated this morning but hope all is well with he and his family

Where did he go? What a loss to all his patients, and to Westmed. Best doctor probably ever known.

I’ve been seeing him for years at Westchester Medical Group for pain management. Excellent bedside manner and very professional. He made me feel very comfortable. Not sure why he is no longer practicing there, but they lost a gem. I pray all is well with him and his family.

Does anyone know what happened to Dr Blanco? I had an ablation procedure and never saw him again! All they say is he is on leave indefinitely- as his patients we have a right to know- and no one is able to do the procedure he does

Dr. Blanco is very professional and always addressed my spinal care needs in a holistic and calming approach with scientifically based practice and procedures. Does anyone know if he has resumed practice elsewhere? It’s a shame that after many years I’ve lost a doctor that I felt comfortable with, which is very hard to find.

I just got informed that Dr Cy Blanco is no longer affiliated with Westmed. I had been under his care for pain management & he was an amazing doctor & always felt comfortable with him. I had my last epidural May 2020 & my last words to him was make sure you knock me out (sedation)??.

Terrible doctor. I would not recommend.

Have had pain issues for about 30 years and have seen many Drs. Dr. Blanco is very knowledgeable, kind, prompt and both excellent and efficient when doing procedures.

Dr Blanco is a unique physician who understand pain. He's caring, he listens, he is present. I'm grateful I found him and for his work with me.

Dr Blanco is exceptional in pain management.
