Caring Dr and Office Staff
After a terrible car accident that has left me with severe brain issues and injury - I was referred to Dr Ahoubim. In the first appointment he asked detailed questions to discern my issues. I was wobbly and very tearful and he was patient, caring and kind.We are beginning testing and retraining my brain now - to get my balance, memory and emotions back to normal. His staff in the office are very communicative. The office is clean. And the most important thing : the Dr is professional and an excellent neurologist.I highly recommend Dr Ahoubim.

Lack of empathy and uncaring when things go wrong
Anyone can change and improve but for now, PLEASE GET A DIFFERENT MEDICAL PROVIDER UNTIL THIS DOCTOR IMPROVES HIS BEHAVIORS. -This doctor didn't prescribe enough pill due to a error on his part and REFUSED to give me an extension on the pills until I saw them face to face. Forcing me into a dangerous situation since I rely on these medications to perform basic functions such as walking. - As other reviews show, the front office staff interactions are pretty bad. They are IMPOSSIBLE to get a hold of. They are curt and pretty cold. - If you HAVE to see this doctor due to HMO or you just made a mistake, I honestly recommend calling them when they open and leave a message, give them an hour or so to be kind/give them a chance and after that: Just keep calling on loop. Call after call. The phone rings and they often ignore it in the office. I have had to call on loop for 40-50 minutes to speak to someone. They RARELY ever called back and this process was often needed.

Worst Office Management
I was told I had to come to the office in person, even though I was sick. I said if you insist, but it will he hard. I had to drive 3.5 hours to get to the appointment with severe neurofibromas flaring up - an agonizing drive. But I did it. Then they made me wait 45 minutes in the office. Then Liz, the office manager told me they couldn't see me, a week after i'd been sick. I said I'm in complete pain, I at least need a phone call to get pain medication until I can see the doctor. The doctor did not call. Liz placated me, knowing full well they were not going to help me. Terrible terrible office management. I have no idea why they treated me so horribly.
