Stellar Work
Been a little over 2 years since my left hand Skier’s Thumb (ulnar collateral ligament reconstruction) and CMC joint (so I’d be able to mt. bike again) surgeries, so I can truthfully assess the outcome. He made the right call fixing my Skier’s Thumb via MP joint arthrodesis (for my rigorous sport lifestyle) versus repair and that joint is as solid as can be. I can do everything similar to before my hand problems surfaced. Dr. Robertson is a reserved doctor that doesn’t talk your ears off, but he's really competent in his work and that's all I care about. I wouldn’t trust anyone else to do my hand surgeries! Thank you Dr. Robertson!

Dr. Robertson has little to no interest in actually seeing his patients after his initial visit. His personality is in the zero to -1 range. I believe his real interest is being the "Surgeon to the Stars". I had total shoulder replacement surgery. I saw Dr. Robertson exactly one time (my initial visit and in the hallway as I arrived at the hospital the morning of Surgery. He did not see me after surgery while I was hospitalized ,or at any time there after. I only saw his assistant.

Dr Robertson was my surgeon for a radio break near the wrist. He had a great bedside manner, was thorough in answering my questions, and genuinely cared. The surgery went smoothly and I would recommend him to anyone for a similar surgery!

I am a retired ICU RN who has worked with many doctors over the years. Dr. Robertson is among the worst I’ve ever seen. Dr. Robertson has a very flat (dull, obdunded) affect, and he doesn’t seem to be confident about what he’s doing either. He kept saying “welllllll” it could be this or it could be that, yet gave no offer of plan of treatment until I asked. Dr. Robertson does not possess any real communication or care skills. I would not let him treat my dogs. Go anywhere else!!

I actually saw Dr. Robertson in the ER at Barton Memorial Hospital after a fall on the ice. I had a broken wrist. Dr. Robertson was just wonderful. He was able to do a closed reduction to reset the bones in my wrist and didn't push me to have surgery. I've made a complete recovery and feel great!
