The ABSOLUTE BEST DR & Human Being EVER
Everything about him is top notch. I can’t say enough about him. Life saver!!! Very caring, compassionate and truly listens to you which is very calming. Answers all questions. Goes above and beyond all the time. If he says he will do something he DOES it. He has done multiple very complicated surgeries on me and I’ve never had an issue. After care exceeded what I expected. Going on 5 years of care for me and I ONLY TRUST him w my problems. Dr Giammar you are one in a million!!!! I can’t THANK YOU enough for all you have done for me!!!!

Funny, caring, takes time with you
Dr. Giammar is one of the best doctors I’ve ever seen. You can tell that he loves medicine and people, and he hasn’t gotten jaded by working for many years. He’s a busy surgeon but is funny and very personable and really takes his time listening to your concerns. I brought a list of questions with me and he read it and we went through them together one at a time! When I had urgent surgery late night, he made me feel calm and even stayed late to call my family to let them know how I was doing. He also makes sure that your social concerns or other healthcare needs are met. For example, He was willing to help me get into a primary care office. Great guy, great doctor! He is Someone that I trust and gives me hope for How our healthcare system as a whole could be

Dr. Giammar is hands down one of the best surgeons I have had the pleasure of having as my colorectal surgeon! He takes the time to put the patient first, and to listen to all questions and concerns. He is very personable, and knows how to ease your mind, and the mind of your loved ones before surgery. Dr. Giammar's work is outstanding as well! If you're looking for a surgeon who is top notch, look no further; Dr, Giammar is your guy! Five Stars!

Upon my first meeting, I liked dr. Giammar. He performed my surgery that ended up being a catastrophe. The morning after my surgery he went on vacation. I ended up with a terrible infection, and in a nursing home. Dr. Giammar's staff acted like high school bullies with me-and the staff from the nursing home. I went to the dep't head for help. He had me see dr. G again. Dr G was sarcastic, and manhanhandled my drain and wound. Can't believe he's back and practicing again. Awful! The worst!

Be positive that all procedures are necessary. Not just a band aid or patchwork. He did a surgery that should have not been done in hindsight.

HIS PERSONALITY SKILLS AT THE TIME OF INITIAL OFFICE VISITS WERE FINE. I SCHEDULED SURGERY WITH DR. GIAMMAR BASED ON HIS EXPLANATION OF HOW SUCCESSFUL HE THOUGH THE SURGERY WOULD BE. I WAS EXTREMELY DISSATISFIED WITH THE OUTCOME OF THE SURGERY AND HIS FOLLOW-UP CARE WAS NONEXISTANT. THE SURGICAL RESULTS WERE SO BAD I NEEDED TO HAVE ANOTHER SURGEON OPERATE ON ME SIX MONTHS LATER TO REVERSE THE SURGERY. DR. GIAMMAR ONLY ENTERED MY HOSPITAL ROOM TWICE AFTER SURGERY & NEVER TALKED WITH ME!!
