Everything a doctor should be.
He explained the hemorrhoids to my to me extremely well and I am very anal (no pun intended) about doctor/patient communication. He was very professional and any potential embarrassment was minimized by him and his nurse who did here best to put me at ease. All in all, a positive experience as I had a good result. He could be teaching other doctors about patient/doctor relations.

Dr Scott Brill consultation via my PCP referral
Dr Brill and his staff were pleasant, efficient and professional. He performed a thorough examination, asked several in-depth questions to clarify my medical history and provided a cogent and active follow up plan. Dr Brill has previously seen a family member with the same high level of medical care and engaged communications.

Dr. Brill planned a simple resection for a tumor removal, but found he had to remove much more of my colon than planned after seeing the damage from years of Crohn's disease. The resulting surgery was much more extensive, left me with an ostomy that he could reverse if I choose. But I have a new lease on life, healed quickly and feel great! Dr. Brill was thorough in answering questions, and compassionate in the aftermath of what could have been a very disappointing surgery for many. He's a fine surgeon!

I had the pleasure of meeting Dr Brill the day of my Colonoscopy he has excellent bed side manners he relieved me of all my fears...he answered all my silly questions and with a smile. Even during the procedure he was asking me did I have any questions... I didn’t know I wasn’t going to be put out.. just something in my IV to numb me, that is advancement also the prep wasn’t bad either, please don’t be afraid of this procedure it may save your life. Also the Dr that assist him was also nice.

Dr. Brill is a first class physician. I came to him after struggling with a fissure for over 5 years. I'd previously had surgery on the fissure with another surgeon, and it didn't go well. Dr. Brill walked me through several options, explained why his recommendations would work versus that of the previous surgeon, and answered every question of mine in great detail. 6 weeks post-surgery and I'm fully healed (recovery was a breeze as long as I followed his directions)!

Dr. Brill made room in his schedule to see me and might have thought that it wasn't serious enough to deserve the immediate appointment. But it was very important to me and he treated with the utmost respect and COMPLETELY solved my problem. I plan to use him for my future colonoscopies and any GI issues.

I had a fissure causing me extreme pain that would not subside. It was unbearable. Dr. Brill performed a minor surgery to fix the problem (I went home the same day), and the improvement I experienced was truly remarkable. After only a few days I was able to resume pretty much everything in my life (while just taking things easy and watching what I ate), and after a few weeks I was pretty much back to my old, normal self. It was amazing. I am extremely grateful to have seen Dr.Brill.

Visit was ok, but impossible to speak with someone afterwards. I have concerns that should have been addressed during my visit, but no one answers the phones or returns calls. Very unhappy.

Very straight forward, attention to detail before and after. Also expects same from hospital staff. Under the dire circumstances of needing his services and uncertainty of what to expect after enduring a couple of years of UC symptoms, he can minimize the anxiety of the impending surgery with his demeanor and confidence (professionalism). My two step surgical procedures were in February and May 2016. Today, about 7 months later, I feel well and do not question my course of action / care.
