Dr. David Graybill, MD

I saw Dr. Graybill 10 years ago and came back to him due to a fractured femur that was operated on during an emergency surgery in North Carolina. He was just as professional, kind, knowledgeable as he was 10 years ago. He treated me with respect, took ample amount of time explaining my rehabilitation process, and care during my recovery time.

I had a total hip replacement and recovered extremely well due to Dr. Graybill’s excellent surgical skills. Moving forward with knee replacements. I have full confidence in my procedure because of him and his fine staff.

This review is being written by a family of (multiple) ortho surgeons. This physician (Graybill) performed a total knee on my grandmother last week. After surgery he appeared too busy for questions (kept his hand on the door the entire time). More concerning, he allowed a 93 yo post-op patient to be released from the hospital without pain meds or management. Multiple attempts were made to reach out to his office PRIOR to close of business and no one answered the phone or returned phone calls. Hospital, appropriately, struggled to release her. We are now finding out that post-op follow-up visit will be done with a nurse practitioner and NOT the physician. Arrogant and unacceptable patient care and follow up. Please seek multiple opinions prior to major surgery. Be smart and ask about after care/pain management/follow up. There is absolutely no reason that this physician can’t follow up on his own patients post-op. Please have standards and don’t hesitate to hold your physicians to them.

From start to finish, Dr Graybill and CIO staff have been excellent...from surgeries to follow-ups. So glad I took the time to find Dr. Graybill and Central Indiana Ortho. His vast background, along with Mako Robotic assistance, have me back on the road to total recovery !

Dr Graybill and his staff are top notch. He actively listens and has answered questions/concerns in a way that is easy to understand. This was my second knee replacement (revision). I would highly recommend him to anyone, especially if a revision is needed.

Dr. Graybill is top-notch! I highly recommend his surgery skills and continued care. Central Indiana Othopedics is a great place. Dr. Graybill replaced both of my hips within two years. I had been to several specialists in 2016 for severe hip pain but not one of them saw the need of a hip replacement. Finally, at the end of my rope, in 2017 I was referred to CIO by my PCP. Upon the first visit Dr. Graybill delivered the news that my left hip needed replaced which actually shocked me. The surgery went well and my recovery was fairly quick. I went home with exercises and no further need of PT. It was amazing...Dr. Graybill changed my quality of life. In 2019 at the first incidence of pain beginning in the other hip, Dr. Graybill advised a second hip replacement. You know, it's a little jarring to hear of a joint replacement but I have to admit that I jumped at having it replaced like ripping off a band-aid. I have never regretted either decision. Quality of life is a treasure.

Dr. Graybill and his staff are always so kind and professional. Always willing to do.what they can to help you. I have referred many friends and family to him.

I meet Dr Graybill do to an accidental fall from a ladder. I had a tibial plateau fracture. Dr. Graybill and his team meet me, formulated a plan. I had surgery two days later. I am currently still in recovery (two weeks, post surgery) things are progressing as expected. I and them expect a full recovery in time.

Just had a hip replacement the 15th of this month. Couldn’t be more pleased with the outcome. Hasn’t been even two weeks after the surgery that I’m walking without the help of anything. Absolute wonderful surgeon. He gave me back the ability to carry on my life to the fullest. Thank you just doesn’t seem to be enough. All smiles again.

Horrible, he spent barely any time in the room with me. Didn't give me information that I needed and made it seem like I was bothering him when I tried to ask questions. I would never recommend this doctor. The office was fine.
