Great doctor
Dr. LaVine is a thorough doctor. He listens and takes his time. My only complaint is you get a different nurse responding when you ask a question in the portal. I'm not sure he sees the questions.

His manner and time with patients is far different the past four years. He was much more hands on and a good listener prior to Covid. I think all the tele-health and number of available Scripps PCP changed him, in a negative way.

Honest guy
Not sure why people are being so negative about him - he's honest and straightforward, and I really appreciate that. I think his sense of humor is great! And he knows his stuff. My whole family sees him, he's really a wonderful doctor.

Rude, biased, opionionated and doesn't listen to patient. Instead of giving patient opportunity biased and laughs at patient, makes them cry. Rude and unsympethatic and not at all caring. Avoid
